Chapter 1

"Let's go!" Janice yelled. New York was two hours away from where I lived, and we needed to be on time if we wanted to go see the most beautiful creatures that have ever stepped foot on a stage. Mindless behavior. This night couldn't get any better. Being seventeen felt great! I basically got to do what I wanted because I was a trustworthy girl, I would never dishonor my parents trust. Ever!

I wasn't a perfect girl. I mean who the hell was? But I made sure that my parents could trust me with whatever. If Your parents trust you, you can do more things without their supervision. That's how my parents were. It felt good to be grown for a night.

Now I know what your thinking. This girl is really, super, extra excited to go see Mindless Behavior live in concert but its more than that. Tonight I feel like a mature grown up, because we're spending the the weekend in New York without our parents. We get to do whatever we want. Now I know every teenage girl pictures the day where it's just her and her friends shopping by themselves in the fashion capital of the world! I can't wait to max out parents cards tonight.

Tonight was also the night we got to see MB backstage! That was the cherry on top of the cake. Me and my friends Janice and Carlen got backstage passes to see MB! Words can't even explain how amazing I'm feeling right now. I felt like the luckiest girl in the world.

"Blake!" Janice shouts!

"I'm freakin' coming!" I shout back from upstairs.

"We're waiting down here hungry, and were about to be late too! We still have to stop and get something to eat! We're behind on time!" Shouted Carlen.

"Yeah! We were thinking Applebee's but I guess we're gona have to pull a fast one around the drive thru of McDonald's!" Janice chimed in.

I loved my friends but they were overly dramatic. We were planning on leaving at four-thirty that evening, the concert started at eight o'clock and we had enough time to stop and eat on the way. So far it was going on four-thirty five and yes we're a little delayed but we had plenty of time! It's guaranteed that we will make the concert on time. Besides, McDonald's was faster anyway, I didn't even want Applebee's from the get-go.

"Listen! We're gona be fine okay?!" I shout. "I'm almost ready I promise!"

I hear groans and grunts from my annoyed friends downstairs. I was almost ready. I just had to put the finishing touches on my make-up. I curl the last part of my long black hair. I slip on my white ripped skinny jeans, and my Mindless Behavior t-shirt. I quickly put on my black and white Converse sneakers, I grab my big duffel bag filled with clothes and everything I need for the trip. I shut off my light and close the door behind me and head downstairs to my friends.

"About damn time!" Carlen shouts with relief.

"Oh shut up." I say.

"Ok so what do you wana do first?" Asked Janice. "Eat and drive? Or drive for a little while then eat?"

Janice was the only one with a license, Carlen and I only had our permits so from now on Janice had to do all the driving.

"It really doesn't matter to me." Carlen says. "I just wana hurry up and see my future husband."

"Oh my god." I groan. "What are the odds of you and Ray Ray being together?" I laugh.

"Ha ha. Very funny." Carlen says sarcastically. "Just watch! You'll see and then I'm gona be all up in your face saying I told you so!"

"We leaving or not?" Janice demands.

"Ok. Ok. We're coming." I say. We grab all our bags and suitcases and head out the door.
