LARAS POV

I stretched my arms out along my soft bedsheets.

I was awoken by my ringtone.

I reluctantly started to sit up in the bed and reach for the phone on my nightstand.

I picked it up, not bothering to check who was calling me.

"Hello?" I said , after hearing my groggy  voice, I cleared my throat and said it again. "Hello?"

"Lara! Hey! Listen, wanna come over for a while later? We're gonna go shopping and have a movie night!" I can hear Sam's voice from over the line.

"Uh if this is an attempt to set me and Demetri up on another double date.."

"No! Chris and Moon will be there! Pleaseeee Laraaa"

"Okayyy"

"Yay! So.. meet at my house at 4 and we'll get snacks?"

"See you then"

I put my phone down and call Demetri.

"Hey Lara!" He greets me.

His voice lives me life.

"Demiiii heyyyy. Did Sam talk to you?"

"Yeah. Listen it's still e-early and I'm so bored. I don't suppose you want to come over for a bit while w-we wait?"

Did he just ask me to come over.

He has before but..

AND WHY WAS HE STUTTERING?!

"u-uh sure! See you soon."

I hang up immediately and drop back down to my bed.

I can't believe he just invited me over

I need to hurry. Now.

I quickly run to my wardrobe, looking for the perfect outfit.

I go to my mirror and Apply my makeup.

I then grab my boots, phone charger, headphones and put them in my bag.

"Dad! I'm going out!"

"Where?"

"Sam's!"

"The LaRusso?"

"Yes dad."

"Fine. Have your keys?"

"Yep!"

"Bye!"

"Byeee!"

I close the door behind me, the filthy, messy, nearly unhinged door.

I step inside my car and drive off to demetri's.
