Lara is 17 years old and lives with her dad, Johnny. after an incident at the Dojo her dad works at, he decided to take a break from her part time med Job, and work at his new dojo "Eagle Fang."
The only bad news is, her best friends ,Demetri, Sam...
"Laraaaaaaa!!!" Moon beams over the phone to me, "hey we're doing a fundraiser to help Miguel. You comingg??"
A fundraiser?
"What type" I ask, now interested.
"A car wash! We're all gonna wear bathing suits! Please come Larsss"
Car wash? Not ma thing. Buttt I am bored.
"Sure. Time?"
"Uhm starting in 5"
"Be over in 20. Byeee."
I put my phone down and change into a bathing suit:

I grab my bag and stuff and head out to my motorcycle.
Then I see dad coming in.
"Lara. Where u off to?"
"Fundraiser. I'll call u later is that ok?"
"Sure. I'm going somewhere with uh Carmen. U have ur keys?"
Carmen? Weird.
"Yep. Byee."
I drive off and towards the spot where the fundraiser is.
I finally reach the spot and take off my helmet. I tie up the bike And my helmet.
I walk over and see Moon and Demetri talking.
"Hey!" I walk over too Moon.
"Omg heyyyy! You look totally AMAZINGGG!" She smiles widely at me.
"Uh yeah you do." Demetri looks at me for a minute. "It's different..."
"What? You no likey???" I wiggles my shoulders at him, causing Moon to laugh, and Demetri facepalming.
"No. Me 'likey' but you never dress like this Lars."
What does he mean? Who does he think he is!
"What do you mean?" I asked, now aggravated and confused.
"Uh. I'll we'll be back in a second Moon." Demetri grabs my hand and leads me around the corner.
"What's your problem?!" I asked him. Now obviously annoyed.
"What's my problem?! What's YOURS?"
I stand there, arms dropping from there crossed position to at my sides , looking at him. Jaw open.
"Why are you being like this?"
"What do you mean? I'm looking out for you...you've changed recently Lara.. with this motorcycle act, and your new wardrobe. What happened to my binary buddy?" He has hurt in his eyes. " I don't wanna lose my other one...."
"Demetri! You won't lose me. I'm just.. everyone changes, some better, some worse. Just because Eli changed for the worse doesn't mean I am. I'm like, finding who I want to be..." I look up at him, guilt in his eyes.
