Pleasing everyone was what Izuku Midoriya wanted to do. Make it so that he would never be shunned from the world yet again. UA was a new start for him, and now everyone had found out yet again about his immature hobby. Will they call him a dancer? A girl? Will they ignore him during school? Will they try to get him kicked out of UA?
So, he decided to act even more immaturely and ignore everything. They found out on Friday, so he kept himself in his room for Saturday. He heard a few knocks on the door but was still too afraid to confront them. He stood quiet, hoping they'd think he was sleeping. He wasn't able to eat anything either, so his stomach at times disowned him and continued rumbling during the night, which he was afraid would give him away to the other classmates that were sleeping in their rooms next to him. Throughout the time, he spent working out, doing his work that was due on Monday per his teacher's request, going over work for a few days ahead, and even doing more hero analysis'. His phone stayed across the room. The only technology he had used was his laptop and a watch.
Today, Sunday he did the same again, but this time he ate snacks that had been kept in his room for studying. He even drank the water bottles that had been left next to his bed. Today there was a lot less knocking on the door than on Saturday. Izuku figured they must already be giving up on their "hero". He couldn't count how many times he cried today, every hour it seemed that there was a tear falling down his face to the floor below. His mind was clouded, and the day passed by quicker than he could imagine. That was until the last knock of the day came, it was three knocks, then continued. No matter how much Izuku stayed quiet in his room, tears running down, the knocks continued. It was as if the person's knocks were interminable. Then, the first voice directed towards him in two days called out his name.
...
In the dormitory, this time everybody was present, except for one green-haired boy. The tension within the room became almost unbearable as Koda sat in the corner, not wanting to feel it but also wanting to be involved. It was also quiet, very quiet. Even Iida, who'd normally be quite noisy, was also silent. Every inch of the room was filled with guilt and pity. It wasn't until someone talked that the group's attention was finally focused on one person.
"What happened?" Momo asked the group, taking a glance at every person in the room.
"I'm not sure... the last time I saw him was at the ice-skating rink, but I didn't think too much of it when he ran off," Mina mentions confusion laced in her face. Kirishima nods, being one of the last people to see him. "You think it was because I recorded him? Is he angry that I did that?"
The others' faces in response to her hypothesis just made her hypothesis more believable. It couldn't be helped, it was very coincidental that after she posted the video of him he began ignoring them all.
"But why wouldn't he step up to her? Isn't Midoriya like that?" Sero, with a confused expression, looked upon some of his classmates, internally hoping one of them agreed.
"He is, but.." Momo says, "I don't know... I mean if I was in his position I think I would feel the same."
With the other peers' pondering looks towards her, she thought she should explain. "Someone showing something about me to other people without asking me first would bother me."
They all in a sense understood and agreed with that. But little did they know that Izuku wasn't completely bothered by Mina's actions, but was more fearful of any of his friends finding out and their reactions. Though now Mina felt even more guilty and thoughtful of her past actions.
"How can we talk to him though? We can't help him if he doesn't even answer his door."
"Has he been eating too? Nobody has seen him leave." Sato, worried about the boy's diet mentions, and they all consider this and find that they haven't seen him get food either. "That can't be good. Maybe we should just tell the teachers."
