Adam's POV
Liz had a meeting which she left for about two hours ago, so I'm home alone with Kitsen.

Currently she's lying on her tummy time mat, chewing the corner.

"Kitsen, try this instead." I gently pull the mat out of her mouth and replace it with a pacifier.

She immediately burst into tears.

"Nooooo. No, I'm sorry. The pacifier isn't bad. I promise." I tell her.

The pacifier falls out of her mouth and she starts to scream.

"What is it, baby? You don't like tummy time. I know you don't but Mommy will get a little bit mad if she finds out we cut your tummy time short." I say.

Kisten screams louder.

"But she doesn't need to find out." I say quickly before picking her up off her tummy and taking her into my arms.

"Why all the tears, Kit Kat? Hmm?" I ask rhetorically, gently wiping her cheeks.

She quietens down for a few minutes.

"Do you need a diaper change? I think you do." I say, kissing her nose before walking upstairs to her nursery.

I carefully lie her down on her changing table.

"While we're here we might as well get you in your pyjamas." I say, grabbing a onesie from her closet.

"You're being so good, aren't you!?" I coo as I change her

After poppering up her pyjama, Kitsen starts screaming again.

"It's okay, it's alright. I'll get you fresh pacifier." I say, taking out a pacifier from the box Liz marked 'clean'.
