Izuku PoV
Today was the day of the sports festival. A chance to show the pros in japan what we got. I was volunteered to give a speech. I walk up to the stage and grab the mic. "Umm....I know all of us look like we are just kids today but we are here to show everyone watching what we can do. If you think all of us just got lucky to get into U.A. then you are dead wrong! Some of us didn't have it easy growing up. People telling us that we don't have what it takes to be hero's or other family issues preventing us from doing so. I am one of them. I was robbed of my childhood a long time ago but I am here now making new memories And all of us will try our best to win!" I said. the crowd starts cheering. "Since when can you talk in complete sentences?" Uraraka asked. "you didn't think that I would talk like a caveman forever would you?" I said. "A little bit actually." she said.
The first round was a obstacle race. When the race starts Todoroki blocks the entrance with a giant block of ice. I use my fire breath to melt it and race into 3rd place. The first obstacle is the robot gauntlet. I weave through the robots. The next obstacle is the gorge. "thank you wings!" I say as I fly over the gorge. the last obstacle is the mine field. Todoroki and Bakugo were tied for first so I decide to spit a fireball setting of the mines at their feet. "The winner is Izuku Midoriya." Present mic said.
