Steven Universe and The Galaxies Unknown: Part One

Chapter Five

Steven looks up at the location of where is partner is being held. He talks to the Captain through a mic intercom in his ear, talking about the locations and actions that will be taking place. While he was talking to the Captain, Oliver goes beside him looking at his face and see a cold expression but then Oliver having his eyes widen.

"Oliver? What is it? Is there something on my face?!"

Oliver rolls his eyes at Steven and responds, "No, but i feel a familiar aura coming from the building. I think i may know who it is.. its not like its with my love but like a connection of my power."

Steven is shocked to here what was just said and asks who it maybe and are they the one planning all the stuff happening.

"Yes, she might be the cause for all of this. Her name is Coral and she was like a failed experiment to Glein, but then used me. I know she isn't up to anything good, so its best we should head in before something happens. Ready My Diamond?"

Steven blushes at the name, but nods to Oliver. "Yeah we should go, but don't call me that Oliver! I'm just like your son!!"

Oliver laughs and reassures him that he was just messing with him.

Steven makes sure that everything is all up to date and all planned out and the two of them head inside.

Connie is panting from the amount of energy they are using to escape such a stupid chair and the ropes that shouldn't be that hard. Finally she decides to roll around in the chair and pushes her back to the floor has hard as she can. Finally the chair fell down and she was able to get a bit loose, notices that her dagger is on the table near the door she scrambles to the table. Finally getting the ropes cut off and was able to stand up, she looks outside of the door and see no one at the hallways so she goes one way.

She runs down the hallway and see two gems that are near a door talking, but sees her.

Connie groans at having to fight already, but she knew it will be easy.

"Heh Bluebird nice to see you again. Who is your friend?"

Bluebird laughs and replies "Oh yeah that's not important princess~ well its best to get you back in your chair~!"

The fight was kind of short lived, the two gems Bluebird and Holly Blue Agate fought Connie the most they can do, but Connie was able to regain her strength back. The gems were the on the floor and close to being shattered. Connie took this as a good victory and went on her way to a place that might have the exit.

Connie hears footsteps coming closer and see Coral running to her, Connie continues to run while Coral jumps down on her with her hands reaching out. She pins Connie down and holds her down by the neck with her other hand holding her wrists.

"Where do you think your going princess~?" Coral says and has a smirk coming up upon her face.

"I may have underestimated your capabilities of getting out of that chair." Coral teased Connie. "But now i might have to stop you from running.."

Connie frees one of her legs and aims for Coral's head, but was caught by Coral's hand.

"Hmm.. thank you for letting out your leg.. now it's a good time to make you stop running."

Coral grabs her ankle and moves her leg in an awkward position to make the fibula to snap. Connie screams and had her left hand free that was holding the dagger and stabs Coral in the side. Coral screamed in pain and Connie was able to let go under Coral's grip standing up, but with one leg.

Connie and Coral went out in a brutal fight, they both had cut wounds, bleeding noses, bruises that were forming, and possibly broken bones in different areas. Coral and Connie were both panting and groaning in pain, but when Connie wasn't paying attention for a split second coral ran up to her and punched her in the head. Connie was knocked out, unconscious for where the brutal fight was.

Steven went on his different way to find Connie, but ended up going into a few caves that were in the area and having to see a few different gems staying in those respected areas.

When he was going father into the cave he found two gems, Lazurite and Kyanite that were talking but noticing the diamond in cave as well. They knew they had to fight him off, because they already lost to him once, but they knew they can fight back.

The two gems did a dance to fuse into one another and Steven was in position to fight them with his shield and sword. The two gems fused and there was a fight, but every time they were suppose to separate they fused back together and their strength was unknowingly more stronger than normal fusions are.

Steven was confused and frantic about what was going on so he ran away from them so he can contact Peridot about what was happening and see if she knew what was going on.

"Peridot?! Peridot?!" Steven asked in the intercom in his ear and had a reply

"Yes? Yes what is it Steven? Do you need soldiers sent out to your location?"

"No not that! I have an issue that i need to see if you know what is happening and how to stop it."

"Well what is it then we still have to get Connie!"

Steven felt a tug at his heart hearing the word Connie but he ignored it and said what was going on with the sudden fusion.

"So i was fighting a fusion of Lazurite and Kyanite, but every time i attack them to make them separate they would just fuse back together no problem and every time i did that their power would get substantially more stronger and stronger!"

Peridot was confused for what Steven was saying about the fusion and had to look through files about fusions between different gems.

"I- I never heard or saw that before Steven. Are you sure that was happening??"

"Yes i am!! I strike them around 6-8 times and they didn't separate but just fused back together!"

Peridot never heard of that ever happening unless there is some other thing that is causing them the sudden power and the ability to fuse back together every time. Suddenly Steven hears foot steps getting closer and see that the fusion was back and went to attack again. He dodged it with his shield, but then while he was focusing on the information that Peridot was saying he got kicked in the head.

Peridot panicked on the other line thinking he might be dead from that attack. "Steven?! Steven?! STEVEN?!"

With Coral still panting from the attack she did she was relieved that she got the kid knocked out and under control even though she was unconscious, but then Coral felt a presence that she didn't felt in a long while and knew who it was. Her other half was here. When she looked behind her she heard a voice and shoot up to what was in front of her. They made eye contacted and knew who it was.

"I don't think you should continue with this game you're playing don't ya think..?" Oliver asked with a cold expression.
