Steven sat in his office, the room a variety of pink shades with white accents as per his color scheme. As much as he hated to admit it to himself; he couldn't get Zita out of his head, mostly due to her blindingly pink hair that now plagued his mind.

His urges were on a rise, and he tugged on the ends of his curls to snap out of them for a moment and diminishing her from his mind so he could focus.

Looking at the time, he got up and started to leisurely make his way towards the Medical Ward where Oliver was, at least until a loud scream came from inside and he quickened his pace.

Sliding into the doorway, he found the cause being Oliver, who had summoned his scythe and was now on the defensive as another raw scream tore from his throat.

"WHERE IS HE?!"

Peridot, who had visited him earlier, was making an attempt to calm him down. "Oliver! I apologize that my questioning caused this! But you have to inform us on who you're talking about!"

"You know Damn Well who I'm talking about! Where is he? What did you do with JASON?!"

"...who?"

"JASON! MY JASON! WHAT DID YOU DO WITH HIM?!"

"Oliver!"

The Therion turned, a blaze of anger in his eyes before they softened as he returned to reality.

"...Steven? Kid, What- What're you doing here?" He asked, looking genuinely confused as his scythe dematerialized and as he took in the destruction he caused, he collapsed to his knees in both exhaustion and the emotions coursing through him.

"You...I came to make sure you were okay. Are you okay?"

"No...I failed him, didn't I?"

Steven moved closer, getting on his knees to be almost eye level with him and tentatively reaches a hand towards his shoulder.

"I can't feel him anymore...at least beforehand I could still feel his heartbeat in the back of my mind...I can't hear it anymore...He's really gone..." Oliver ends up collapsing into Steven, who embraces him as quiet tears run down his face.

"We'll find him, Oliver. I promise."

Coral sat idly in her cell, her claws tapping against the ground as her other hand had slipped from her chains. A signal went off in her ear, and a voice she was all too glad to hear echoed through.

"Mávro; What is your position?"

"I'm inside the palace, Asvestos. By this point in three planetary rotation cycles I'll be home...with a plethora of information at our disposal."

"Excellent work, I can always count on you Kynigós. What of your team?"

"Dullards the lot of them. Can't even capture a mere human without me. She was rather cute though, squirming and screaming underneath my claws, soaked in her own blood...I might keep her when this is all over-"

"This wouldn't happen to be The Lotus High Guard, would it?"

"Yes, Archontas. Please, can i keep her? I'll take good care of her..."

"Anything to calm you, Kynigós. Just make sure they all know she's yours..."

"See you soon, Darling~"

"Farewell, My Huntress."

Zita leapt back onto the balcony, holding Connie in a bridal carry with her hands gripping her back. The wind of the night sky had ruffled their hair a bit, but it wasn't too much of a bother for either of them at the moment.
