The tulkun

I saw a Sampson chopper landing and I rushed over to help. Norm was finally here after a day of flying. He was able to get here faster in a Sampson then we were on ikran because it was a machine. I kept the people back with neteyam to make sure they didn't get hurt "stay calm and keep clear it's for your safety" I yelled for them to hear me.I ran with the equipment that norm handed me back to the mauri. I didn't usually agree with this way of healing because I believed that eywa would heal and the tsahik would help. I set the stuff down and sat nervous. Mom tapped me on the shoulder after about ten minutes of nothing working. "Run as fast as your feet will take you go find ronal we need the tsahik" mom said to me quietly. " eywa will provide" i ran out of the mauri and tried to find ronal. "Ma tsahik!" I said when I saw her "ronal tsahik of metkayina interpreter of the will of eywa we need your help. My sister is not well." "I will grab my things" I ran back as fast as I possibly could and gave my mom the it's gonna be okay look and went to go hold her hand. After a few minutes ronal walked in seeing all of the sky people machines. "I see that I am not needed here" "you are tsahik!" Mom said grabbing Ronals arm as she tried to leave. "Then move these things" "OUT. YOU HAVE DONE NOTHING!" Mom yelled at norm and max. "Okay come on let's just take a break" "wait I still gotta take her IV out" norm said after dad told them to leave. "Y/n you have tsahik training correct" I nodded. " say the healing prayer for me it will help" I ran to my things rack and grabbed a tsahik in training head piece

"Y/n,kiri" "yes grandmother" I looked up my eyes eager "you and kiri are tsahik in training to symbolize this I give you these" grandmother took out a head dress like hers it was lighter in color and blue and purple like the colors of the forest. And it had a tsahik knife on it. Kiris was exactly like grandmothers. I put the head piece on and it just felt right.

I put it on right away and then went to ronal and i later right next to kiri placing my hand on her forehead and arm.

I stepped back after chanting my prayers to the great mother and ronal finished healing her. Blowing on her chest banishing all of the bad energy. I leaned next to kiri hoping she would wake up. Praying she would be okay when her eyes started to flutter. "Kiri! Your awake" tuk said with tears in her eyes. Dad rushed in and mom rushed over to her along side me. Kiri started to cry, mom grabbed her hand trying to calm her "kiri my sweet child" mom said as kiri cried harder. I pressed my forehead to hers and my nose lined up perfectly with hers. Kiri slowed her sobs at my touch. She grabbed my hand looking for the comfort and out breathing became synced.

I walked out leaving my sister to rest and put on my flight visors my bow was around my back then I called Nara and hopped on. After maybe 30 minutes of flying I saw a demon ship. I saw ikran on the top of it and got confused but then... I saw they had camo gear on. I didn't have my comm on so I couldn't do anything but I knew I had to take some of them out. It was the same ship that was hunting a tulkun the other day. I flew closer and let out war cry. "Na'vi! It's on an ikran!" I aimed and shot right through the man's neck. I saw avatars rush out of the inside and many of them armed themselves with guns. And tried to shoot me down. I shot within a line of sight where ever I could see someone I shot an arrow. I jumped off of Nara and dove into the water still holding my bow. Using my feet to propel myself forward. I rose above the surface with only my eyes and I readied an
Arrow under water. The sky people where freaking out because they had lost sight of me. "Where did she go!" I shot my arrow into a woman's back who was standing at the ready with a gun. I hopped behind cover on the ship pulling my arrow from the body. About thirty people where around me. I couldn't take them all on at once so I ran. Ducking behind some metal on a higher level and calling my ikran and flying away.

I was rolling my sleeping mat up with the rest of my family when we heard the horn sounding. "What was that" tuk questioned. I rushed outside and saw tsireya on her ilu "the tulkun have returned everybody our brothers and sisters have returned" i jumped into the water calling my ilu "tsireya! Do you need help" "yes please y/n that would be amazing." I swam around on my ilu shouting "The tulkun have returned!" People were calling out excited. They metkayina and the tulkun are like the Omaticaya and ikran. It's an important rite of passage.When most of the metkayina were alerted I rode my ilu to go meet the tulkun they had tattoos similar to their metkayina brothers and sisters. They sing the songs of their people they fly gracefully through the water. Giving Na'vi children rides on their flippers. I saw ronal conversing with her spirit sister, talking about their babies. Tsireya swam up to me and signed "come I want to introduce you to my spirit sister." I got off of my ilu and swam to meet her.
"Sister, This is y/n she is from the forest" "I see you. may the all mother smile upon our meeting" I signed to the tulkun "hello y/n I see you tsireya has told me about you. Thank you for being a good friend to my sister. I have also heard about your brother lo'ak." She said to me.

The tulkun had a endless cycle of migration. Every year the tulkun come back to see their brothers and sisters. It's a time for stories, Reunions, sharing all of these things with one another. It was magical, I started to remember the first hunt for all of the young hunters. I always lead them in the hunt on the ikran. Kiri often lead the people on the pa'lis. I turned around and saw dad and mom on a tsurak. Mom smiled noticing a baby tulkun and an older tulkun. It's always nice seeing mom smile.

I was helping mom cook dinner and fish that I had caught when I was learning how to net fish. When I saw tonowari walk in front of our mauri. Dad stood up and walked out. Mom got up and walked and turned to me and stuck out her hand to me when I tried to get up. I overheard some of their conversation and I couldn't stay out longer. I walked near after a few seconds of tonowari and dad talking. "They have a human boy. Who speaks na'vi!" I walked out of the mauri. I felt like I could barely breathe. I locked eyes with dad "spiders working with the RDA... isn't he" dad looked down "ISNT HE!" Dad nodded slowly. I walked back inside "did they kill anyone?" "Not yet." Tonowari said through gritted teeth. Mom and dad finished talking with tonowari and came back inside. I got up and I went near the shore. I kicked the water yelling letting my anger out. Screaming,yelling. It was all I could do. I doubled over and started to cry. The boy I grew up with. One of the few humans I trusted, was working with the enemy. Translating hurting innocent na'vi. Tuk saw me on the ground along with my twin. "Y/n what's wrong?" Tuk asked, I couldn't form words. I just cried. I felt warm 4 fingered hands around my body. I tried to stop crying I just couldn't. What was I going to do.
