The fact people might be reading this is insane.

Well, hello. I'm beyond grateful for the opportunity to write a sequel to "Forbidden Alliances" so if you've stumbled upon this, I suggest reading the first of what I'm hoping becomes a trilogy.

Let me begin by saying I do not own the rights to most of these characters except Freya Shelby and most side characters. This story will take place after season 3 of Peaky Blinders, owned by BBC, and although some content will be credited to Steven Knight, this, unlike my first novel, will be primarily my own plot and descriptions that take place after 3 and right before 4 (or to be specific, begin at the start of season 4 before the time jump).

I would also like to preface a TRIGGER WARNING. Sex, violence, PTSD, child loss, post-partum, suicide, depression, anxiety, disordered eating behaviors, trauma, guns, gore, mental health issues, swearing, etc. will all be severe and descriptive.

My main purpose is to bring light to these unspoken topics and not sensor them as much as possible. If anything makes you uncomfortable, please stop reading or take a break. I sometimes have to sit back and evaluate how much I really want to showcase because it can be pretty violent and uneasy, but sometimes that's just reality. I personally don't see much of that in literature anymore and I would like to be as raw and open as I am capable.

If you are ever struggling at home, work, school, or life in general, please contact your local mental health hotline or someone you feel safe with and trust. If anyone wants an ear, my messages are always open.

I would love critical feedback if anyone is willing to give it to me. If my language/spelling/grammar/diction is incorrect, please let me know. I only know English and I question it sometimes XD.

I didn't want to publish this until I had at least 10 chapters to fall back on but I've been sitting on this for 4 months and I'm struggling with the motivation. If you like what you read, hearing back would be a great boost in confidence and would most likely help with this damn writers block.

Thank you again for the opportunity. I hope you enjoy the continuation of Freya and Alfie's story. I love y'all!
