-Alexander's POV-

"Phoebe, ambidextrous, Carbonara, pain, Stella... These five random words are what's in my dream always... Well...That was before." I told my wife randomly as we sat on one of the benches in the park we used to go.

"I forgot to continue telling you this story because Vien kept us busy after our last meet-up."

"I can still vividly remember..." Lea sighs while reminiscing our not-so-good memories with Vien.

"Of course, you remember. That was just 1 year ago, babes." She looks at me with a dagger look and was about to fire back but I stop her immediately with my fingers. "Oops! I know what's next. Idiot, I know that that was last year blah blah blah!" She laughs as I mimicked her.

Lea harshly removed my fingers from her lips, "I was about to say moron so that you're a little less stupid." I pouted at her but she kissed me right away which surprises the hell out of me. I didn't know that my wife is into PDA na, ha?

"Anyway, continue." She commanded.

"Okay..." I cleared my throat and straighten up my seat. "Those five words actually helped me to know who am I and what's my role in your life. It's funny yet mind-blowing how things work for both of us. I feel like, everything is destined to happen."

What I said made her think. "Yeah... Everything has really a purpose and a reason, no?"

"Definitely." I agreed while continuously nodding my head. "You're destined to leave the company so that I can habol you, no? Is it still destiny or just part of your plan?"

"Tarantado! How can I even enter your dreams?"

"Eh, isipin mo, babes, every single word in my dreams was introduced to me one by one after you left."

Lea gave me an I am-so-done-with-you-look. "Babes, that's the magic of fate nga. I don't know but it's like we have this thread on both of our wrist tapos kapag nalalayo tayo sa isa't-isa, it gets pulled para magkalapit ulit tayo."

"A thread of fate, indeed..."

"Anyway, let me tell you a funny story. Remember when you cooked carbonara for me?"

"I do."

"I didn't finish it in one go since it's too marami, so I reserved the remaining for later because it's so delicious. But then Vien came and she freaking ate it! I lost my shit and we fought that day just because of that carbonara. God, if you just witnessed how childish am I that time, you would've smacked the shit out of me." Lea was chuckling at my side while listening. She really can't contain it anymore.

"Why didn't you just ask me to cook another for you?"

"Eh, we're not that good pa saka I was shy to you. Pero when the intensity of our conversation reached its peak, she asked me what does she need to do para hindi na ako magalit tapos I told her to contact you."

Lea was shaking her head, disbelieving what I am saying. Even I, can't still believe I did that. "That was so brave of you!"

"Well, I got carried away," I answered as I returned my look to my children who are busy playing with their Tita Nath.

"Stella!" We both yelled when she tripped and almost landed on her brother. We rushed to them, worrying that they might be hurt.

"Are you alright, Mace?" Lea asked as she starts to help our daughter stand up.

"Chill, mommy! I am fine." She answered while laughing.

"Yeah! Chill, mommy! I will never let them get hurt! Best tita kaya ako!" Nath interfered and because of that, she received a sharp look from her older sister. "And I was just zipping my mouth..." She eyed me and gave me a signal to calm Lea.
