Chapter Five - Study Montage

In the next day, the monsters lined up in one side of the room as the animals lined up on another side in front of the monsters as Professor Knight directs to the monsters, "Ready position. Common crouch." The monsters did their common crouch as he explains, "I want to see matted fur and yellow teeth. Basic snarl. Show me some slobber! Drool is a tool, kids. Use it." He pauses at Sulley, seeing his fierce face before saying, "Now here is a monster who looks like a scarer."

He turns away, and continued down the line, saying, "You want a hope of passing this class, you have to breathe, eat and sleep scaring." Mike gets partnered up with Diane while Teresa gets partnered with Sulley, much to hers and Piranha's displeasure. Sulley gives Teresa a point and clicks his tongue. She rolls her eyes from that. Later on, Mike and Diane grabbed some scaring books from the library and meets back in his room as he practices his snarling and takes off his retainer. Teresa didn't meet up with Sulley to train him as she goes out with the Misfits, while Sulley does some partying with the RORs. Next day, Mike throws a ball in the air and caught it while studying with Diane before saying, "Give me another one!" Diane held out a card and says, "Fear of spiders?"

"Arachnophobia." Mike answered as Diane held out another card, saying, "Fear of thunder?" "Keraunophobia." Mike answered before Diane held another one before saying, "Fear of chopsticks?" "Consecotaleophobia. What is this? Kindergarten? Give me a hard one."

Later on, MU football team played against the Fear Tech football team as MU won with a huge slug monster. During class, Mike raised his hand and says, "The answer is C: Fangs." Professor Knight was amazed and says, "Well done, Mr. Wazowski." Mike answers some questions correctly, much to Sulley's annoyance. Later on, the two hit the gym as Mike went to an open treadmill next to Sulley and starts up his speed. Sulley saw and increased the speed of his treadmill. Mike took notice and increased his speed too. The two kept increasing their speed until Sulley falls off the treadmill.

Mike laughs until he falls off the treadmill too. Piranha, on the other hand, was running fast on a max speed treadmill. Later on, the students leave the scaring school after doing a test. Diane looks at her score to see a perfect A+ as she smiles brightly, while Teresa walks out with the misfits and as she sees her score, her smile fades, which the others notice. She shows them the score, which is a D-. Snake shrugs and shows her his score, which is an F as they laugh it out. She laughs too as they tossed their papers away, but Diane caught Teresa's paper and was shocked to see the bad grade, starting to have doubts about Teresa hanging out with the misfits. Sulley comes out and regroups with the RORs, but Mikey walks past them, showing his A+ to them.

One of the RORs member took Sulley's paper and reveals a C- on his paper before Sulley snatched it back and walks away. After days of studying and tests, Mike was practicing some scaring faces while Diane directs him, "Ogre slump. Zombie snarl. Dominant silverback gorilla." Professor Knight was impressed and says, "That is some remarkable improvement, you two." Knight walks over to Sulley, who only performs the same roar he usually does without Teresa directing him before Knight turns his head away, saying, "One frightening face does not a scarer make, Mr. Sullivan and Miss Teresa." He walks away as Mike gives Sulley a point and clicks his tongue like last time. The day of the final exam soon came as animals and monsters walk to the scaring school, studying their scares and drinking coffee.

Mike was walking with Diane and says, "A Tauntaun grimace with extra slobber!" "You got it." Diane said with a smile before her gaze turns to Teresa and the misfits. She plans to talk to Teresa about hanging out with different people as the two walked past the RORs. Sulley looks at Mike and says, "I'm gonna wipe the floor with that little know-it-all." "Yes, you are, big blue." Johnny said before he pulled Sulley's jacket away from him, which made the blue monster confused as he says, "Hey, wait, what are you guys...?" "It's just a precaution. ROR's are the best scarers on campus, Sullivan."

"Can't have a member getting shown up by a beach ball." Johnny explained before Sulley turns his gaze to Mike as he and Diane entered the school before he turns back to Johnny and says, "I'm gonna destroy that guy." "Well, then, you'll get this back right away. It's time to start delivering... on that Sullivan name." Johnny said before he and his gang walked away, leaving Sulley to repeat Johnny's advice in his head.
