➼ 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘯𝘦

Jasper Whitlock Hale was mentally tired not that he could be physically being the creature he was... a vampire. He was always mentally tired but nowadays he also feels alone. He has felt these feelings more often now. But he kept going. Jasper kept going for his family and for his future mate that he had yet to find. Being he was the only one without a mate in his coven now, Jasper felt almost like an outsider. But he stayed with the Cullen coven. He stayed because he had nowhere else to go and also because he wouldn't leave his family. Especially during a time like this. With a pending war coming their way against a newborn army of vampires.

Right now Jasper was stuck in his thoughts as he walked home from training his coven or family and the pack of wolf shifters. He had his hands deep within his pockets as he kicked at the dirt. A sigh left him as he looked above at the sky. It was dark and the stars above shined bright bringing him a sense of comfort. He took a moment to stand and closed his eyes, taking an unnecessary breath of air.

Opening up his eyes Jasper looked at the sky admiring the stars that shined bright in the night above him. And then continued walking back home. Jasper needed a moment to himself after revisiting his past being that he told Bella what had happened to him so long ago. He had took a long moment and began walking aimlessly away from everyone. But he found himself out when night time came. Which he liked. He always was comforted in the dark. It gave him a sense of comfort and peace. Even during the day he longed and waited for the night sky to take over. Sometimes Jasper found when he closed his eyes and went into a deep meditative state he would find himself flying in the night sky. He longed for that to come true but settled for going on walks at night, or going to sit at a tree top and admire the night sky from a high viewpoint.

Shaking himself of his thoughts another sigh left Jasper when he saw that he had reached his destination. His home, the Cullen's residence. Walking up the steps of the house he could hear that his family were talking to each other about something that seemed important. As soon as Jasper opened the door to the house he was met with his best friend, Alice. She had a worried look on her face when she saw Jasper.

"I was so worried about you Jas!" Alice exclaimed with concern as she threw her arms around him. Jasper hugged her back but had a look of confusion as to why she was so worried about him. Jasper and Alice were very close ever since she had found him. The two had been with each other ever since. Jasper had respect for Alice being she was the one who had helped him out of a dark hole that he was sinking in. Alice was his best friend, his sister and always will be.

"What's wrong Alice?" Jasper questioned his pixie like friend as he pulled her away from him. Alice's mate Philip also known as Phil wasn't that far away taking his worry mate into his arms. Alice wasn't one to really worry but when she did it was a cause for everyone to worry along with her. The rest of the Cullen's and Bella were watching with concern looking for the two friends, but mostly Jasper.

"It seems that Alice can't see your future any more Jasper," Carlisle answered with a worried sigh. The Cullen's were all worried wondering why this would happen. Alice had the ability to see the future based on one's decision. And she had no clue why she couldn't see the future of her best friend and it scared her endlessly. Especially with the battle that was coming soon with the newborn vampires coming for Bella. She had a scared frown upon her face as her eyes glazed over hoping to see if she could find a future for Jasper. But she still came up with a black smoke filled nothingless void.

"Well I can't give you a reason why this has happened and I don't know what will happen. But know I'll be careful and we'll try to figure this out after everything," Jasper promised Alice as he placed a comforting hand on her arm to reassure her. Jasper had no clue what this met for him but he wasn't really worried about it. He felt that whatever happens to him, happens. So with a small reassuring smile to everyone he sent waves of calm to everyone as he walked out of the living area to his room.
