Reich slowly regained consciousness. He heard voices but couldn't tell how many people were with him. They had a familiar accent, but he couldn't make out what they were saying as he was still a bit dazed. Reich slowly opened his eyes, he looked at the hand of his left arm, which was attached to some equipment and a white pillow with a matching the white blanket. Suddenly someone uncovered his back slightly and stretched out one of his wings, which he didn't like at all. Third Reich immediately pulled back its wing, opening its eyes wider and turning its head over the blanket. He saw a woman shaking with fear, she was wearing a white coat and was hiding behind another person standing in the room.

The man was very tall and had red skin. His face was more than familiar to him, it was Soviet Union. A cold shiver ran down Reich's spine. He tried to scowl as much as he could to hide his insecurity. "Some people never change!", said Soviet with a calm look. "Why am I here?", Reich asked in a raspy and hoarse voice and tried to get up a bit, but a sharp pain came through his right arm which makes him wince. His face was also contorted by the pain, which thankfully subsided quickly. "I can't let you freeze to death in the cold or do I look like some monster that does that?" "Maybe.", he replied cheekily.

"I'm going home now and you, don't try to stop me, understand!" "All right then, try to get up, get out of the building without a problem, get past my soldiers and fly through the storm without anything to keep you warm like a coat. Admittedly, your chances of surviving this are very slim." "You just want me to be uncomfortable and scared, but I'm not falling for your dirty tricks!" "Okay, if you don't want any tips or help from me." "Of course I don't want or need your help. Just get out of my way, understood!?" "Yes, loud and clear." "Good!" As he said, he tried to get up carefully, while Soviet watched him and considered various scenarios of what could happen.

Reich literally ripped off the connected devices and managed to sit on the edge of the bed. Cautiously, he put one foot down and tried the second, but getting up and walking away was another matter. He put weight on his left foot and the bed was his support. Now he wanted to try to walk and wanted to be as confident as possible. Soviet considered < What a show off. > Third Reich put his right leg on the ground, but it was too weak to hold him up and Reich felt the pain rising up in him.

He fell to the ground, everything was hurting him now and he was grimacing again, he was also extremely embarrassed, especially when Soviet couldn't help but laugh. "All right, maybe I need some help after all.", he admitted. Soviet's laughter stopped, then he patted the doctor's shoulder and said: "You see, Reich is harmless." "Who are you calling harmless, you arrogant fool!" "Watch your choice of words or I won't be so nice anymore!", he warned before walking over to him and carefully picking him up to put him back on the bed. "Thank you!", he whispered. "You're welcome!" "Because I can't go home, you will take me back to my country!" "How about no?" "Why a no, you want to get rid of me!"

"Yes, but not like this." "And how do I get home?" "First of all, not at all, since firstly you are so injured that you can't even stand up straight and secondly you are my prisoner." Reich's facial expression darkened and he yelled in Soviet's face: "I AM NOT YOUR PRISONER!" He cleared his throat briefly and continued: "If I were really a prisoner, I would be in a cell, with chains all over my body and not specially in a hospital." "First of all, don't yell at me, I'm not hard of hearing and since I don't want to treat you the way you would treat me, I'm giving you this luxury. I'll even treat you so generously that your prison will be my home, so I can keep a good eye on you so you don't get any stupid ideas." Third Reich looked at him with big confused eyes. He just couldn't get a single word out.

"And don't you harm my children!" "I would not hurt anyone personally and especially not children. I like children and I have three of my own that I have to take care of and therefore have to go home." "You have children?" "Yes, I have three wonderful sons.", he said proudly. "I have 12 more children than you." "WHAT?!", Third Reich shouted and looked at him in astonishment. "You heard me right, I have 15 biological kids and three adopted ones." "Alright, now you understand why I have to go home." "Of course I understand that and that's why you're not going to rot in a prison, you're going to stay with me and my family for a few months at most." Reich didn't look at him enthusiastically.

"I still have to talk to the doctors, so you have about five minutes to relax.", he said before walking out with the doctor and closing the door behind them. Third Reich now looked around the room, it was not very big and had two beds. To his left was a table on which his favorite jacket lay, everything that had been in the jacket was spread out on the table and there was a chair and a window to the side. To the left was the second bed and two doors. He lay back down carefully on the bed and snuggled into his fluffy wings. Reich deepened in his thoughts, but soon fell asleep.

Soviet Union came back after a few minutes. "Excuse me, it took a little longer." No answer. "Reich?" He walked closer to him and looked at his face, he looked very peaceful, calm and relaxed. Soviet Union began to smile, he had never seen Reich so relaxed. Reich stirred briefly, Soviet thought he'd woken him up, but Reich just buried his face deeper in his feathers. Soviet snuck up to Reich and slowly and gently tried to pick him up. He succeeded and Third Reich slept peacefully on. One could now compare Reich more with a feather ball than with a Countryhuman. The doctor opened the door. "What can I do for you?" "Please bring Reich's things that are on the table in the car."

"Will be done immediately!" Soviet Union went out of the room, through the hallway to the entrance and exit, where a car was already waiting for him. His chauffeur opened the door, the car and Soviet put Reich in carefully. The chauffeur walked to the other side of the car and let Soviet Union into it. He then got in himself and the car drove away. Third Reich continued to sleep peacefully, breathing deeply. During the drive, Soviet's attention was either directed out the window or to Third Reich. He sank into his thoughts, what did he want to do now, his plan had gone differently than he actually wanted. After a while, they turned onto a street that took them even further away from the city.

They soon arrived at Soviet's house, it wasn't a particularly big house, but it wasn't small either. To the left of the house was a shed and a fence with a gate leading to a garden with a playground. To the right was a car, a large pile of wood and a path leading back into the large forest. They stopped, Soviet got out and went to the side where Reich was sleeping. He carefully picked it up again and hoped Reich wouldn't wake up. After he closed the car door with his foot, the car drove away and he went to the front door. Reich moved briefly as if waking up, but his breaths revealed he was still asleep.

Soviet Union tapped twice on the front door. Russia enthusiastically opened the door. "Papa, it's nice to see you again...", but when he saw Reich he fell silent. "Pa-Papa is that Third Reich?!" he asked scared. "Yes, my son, this is Reich." Ukraine came running, stopped short and tried to run back again, but her brother grabbed her by the sleeve of her sweater. Kazakhstan and Belarus came shortly after and they just looked at Reich in amazement. "Dad who is that?", they asked. Russia replied: "This is Reich the baddest of all baddies and if you two aren't careful he'll suck you like a vampire." "Who's going to be sucking who out like a vampire?" The children flinched when they heard him. Ukraine and Russia trembled with fear and hid behind the door.

"Don't worry he won't hurt you, he can't even walk." "WHY ARE YOU CARRYING ME AROUND LIKE A BABY?!" "How else am I supposed to carry you and don't yell at me! You know how about I just drop you on the steps?" "No thanks, I'm not yelling at you anymore." "Thanks!" Kazakhstan and Belarus approached him interestedly, but then Kazakhstan was stopped by Russia. "He doesn't look like a vampire, more like a feather ball." "I'm not a feather ball, those are just my wings.", Reich answered Kazakhstan. "I have wings, too!", Kazakhstan exclaimed, showing him his golden yellow wings. "They are really beautiful!" "Thank you very much!"

Russia and his sister Ukraine exchanged confused looks. "Could we please move this conversation to a warm place.", Soviet asked. The children avoided them and Belarus closed the door.
