Chapter 2: Princess

I went back home and dropped the letter on the kitchen island  and went upstairs.I threw my things on the floor and flew on my bed. Its been only two hours and I missed my bed this way.

"Ohh how I've missed you" then i started laughing at my stupidity. I texted Jennifer and Sam they are my bestfriends.The only ones that understood me in the world apart from my brother. I went to our group chat

I waited approximately three seconds before I got my reply.My bestfriends are fast repliers did i forget to say.

Where do u want to go -K

Maybe McDonald's -S

Be there in 15 minutes -K

I'll beat u to it -J

Says the tortoise amongst us - S

I know right, so less texting and more going.Love u - K

I smiled at my friends reply then I hopped on my bike put on my helmet and zoomed off. I actually beat them to it .I got there followed by Sam and Jennifer.I went to give them a big warm group hug. I and Sam looked at Jennifer from head to toes then looked at each other and laughed.

"It seems like you were really ready for this outing" I said still looking at her

"Do u know if I'll see my next boyfriend here" she said with a smile.

I just looked at her again and laughed, we got inside and ordered some cheese burgers and fries. I looked at my bestfriends with a worried expression.

"What is it again" they both said in unison

"My mom signed me up for a scholarship at Eastern Oak High, I don't think I'm ready for it guys.You know how it is for me and I don't want to disappoint them even if they are already disappointed in me." I said with tears stinging my eyes, I know I look tough but when I'm around my besties I just seem to loosen up and soften.

"You know we are always here for you any step of the way.You just need to take it one step at a time." Sam said

"Don't you think its high time you tell your mum what's going on instead of killing yourself slowly." Jennifer said

"NO!!!" I half yelled, I don't want her to know anything she didn't seem to care for me again after my brother died because he was the one that kept on pleading with her that I was the one that needed motherly attention instead of him but because I didn't want to be in the science field she didn't seem to care again.

"Its okay" they both said and came to give me a hug.

On my way home, I decided to stop by a retail outlet to get some snacks I can munch on for the night .As I stepped out some bike gang stood around smoking and they called out to me.

"Hey there princess" said one grabbing my hand.

"What the fuck dude!!" I yelled pulling away

"I like them feisty"

"You pedophile if your dirty hands touch me one more time, you will not dare touch me again"

"Guys we got a tough one, why don't you boys come join in the fun" he said laughing.

I looked around and saw about six men surrounding me and one grabbed me by my hand.
