A/N: Hello Everyone new and returning! Wanted to give you guys another chapter with our darling Wamuu. As mentioned in the description all art is credited to its original owner. I'm also gonna go out on a limb and say, that I headcanon that since the pillarmen are indeed superhumans discovered in what is now South America...they do not have a set tribal language affiliated with the Mesoamericans known to us. They instead, have acquired all knowledge from each tribe's languages and dialects, and are proficient in using them interchangeably if they desire to. That is why you kind of see a little bit of Aztec (now Nahuatl ) reference mostly throughout this story. Just want to clarify.

The walk through the quiet and drafty corridors was tranquil, as I soaked up the attentiveness of the sandy, golden-blonde pillarman carrying me in his arms. The bulk of his muscles squeezed so snugly against my form that I thought I would pass out in utter bliss. This did not go unnoticed by said pillarman who looked at me briefly with a light smirk, while my head lay buried in his chest. My arm wrapped securely behind his neck to brace myself, as I was not used to being lifted off the ground, even now in my seemingly immortal form.  I chanced a glance at Wamuu's face, seeing that it was focused onward, and down a series of stone steps...he was taking me to my room no doubt... Now that I think of it, I don't believe he has ever truly spent time in there either. Every encounter we had, never led him to linger around my quarters until now, I thought shyly.

  3rd Person POV

The same can be said about Kars, but he was often too busy to stay long. Nonetheless...he made it a point to greet her before he went about his business. Always with an air of regality and charm that would have any living being weak in the knees. Forget Helen of Troy, with her face that launched a thousand ships. Kars's face could bring the whole world down in absolute chaos. Esidisi had his way of dropping by that was supposed to be cool and casual, but the obvious gleam of excitement and admiration glittered in his ocean eyes. It was never a dull moment between the two, for they spent hours talking each other's ear off about any and everything.

Last but never least, it would be criminal to forget about dear Santana. Beneath that cold exterior is someone who always has cogs turning in curiosity when his gaze locks onto the young pillarwoman. Like an ancient puzzle having yet to be solved by only those worthy of getting close.  Every time he visited her room or seemed to be passing through, he left a unique little gift that he either created himself or found throughout the jungle and the temple itself. And every gift he ever gave her was placed on a nicely crafted wooden shelf, that she asked him to help her build, unknowingly for that reason. To present them like trophies on display should he ever pass by her room time and time again. During each occasion, she could tell there was a little pep in his step, and his chest puffed out because of the thought of him wordlessly impressing her with his gifts. So each of the Pillarman had something to offer this wonderful gift of a woman that entered their lives out of nowhere, and it was now time to see what was in store for her once again in the form of one honorable, and proud, behemoth with a steel blue gaze.

Wamuu had located  Y/N's room effortlessly like he had been there a thousand times. What she didn't know was that he had been enjoying her tight hold on his form... more than words could describe, but he held an immeasurable amount of restraint in keeping his feelings at bay. His priority was making sure she felt comfortable as her newly budding horns continued to grow to their full length. As he silently moved the curtains to enter her room, he gave it a once over, before laying the pillarwoman on her warm furs softly.  At the balcony facing the end of her bed, sat the magnificent jaguar, perking up at the sign of her return. With a content growl, Dimas lowered himself to the ground and sat much like a sphinx that would guard the most important of treasures. Wamuu nodded knowingly at the cat, whose glowing sunset eyes, warned him not to harm a hair on his companion who was currently frazzled and groaning in pain.

" I did not get to properly thank you Wamuu. I think I might have been in the fetal position on this stone floor if I tried to make it here myself..." Y/N commented while rubbing her scalp, carefully avoiding the tender spots. "There is no need, Yáakunaj (Love)." He said, the term of endearment, slipping out of his mouth by accident like he had wanted to say it aloud day in and day out... The pillarwoman, thankfully did not pick up on his petname for her and continued rubbing at her head with little to no progress in easing the pain.

"Ugh, my head feels like it is splitting in two..." Dimas moved from his 'sphinx' position to get closer to Y/N's side. He emits a low, rumbling purr as he begins to crawl into the pillarwoman's sleeping arrangements. "Dimas, you fuzzball... you're almost as big as their horses, but thank you..." She says in playful annoyance. The jaguar recognizes this and as a return of favor to her for residing in this home, his purrs grow deeper. A feeling that vibrates through her very being.  Y/N felt crashing waves of relief that flowed through the tips of her tender, juvenile horns. She leans into the source of her tranquility with a more than content exhale through her nose, all while absentmindedly rubbing at golden fur and black rosettes.

Wamuu could not help but admire the scene before him. Y/N curled up with her feline charge as the ebb and flow of Dimas's powerful purrs washed over the pillarwoman, rocking quietly through her pain. He knew the relief would not last for the entire length of her growing pains, but he was going to plan out her care. He planned out battle strategies with his leader and even took care of himself when his brother and leaders were busy. That single horn developing before his own eyes, way back when... This was no easy task, but he would not give less than his best to help. " With time, I believe I can get you back on your feet once more. And your duties will be handled accordingly. In the meantime, we must help your horns develop without complication."
