A/N: This was the outfit given to her by Wammu.

~*~Evening~*~

" For the time being, you will show me exactly what your abilities are...Santana will be your sparring partner. Hopefully you will not disappoint." Kars called upon Santana to oversee my sparring for the day. Of course he and Esidisi would sit back and observe from the sidelines in another part of the temple casting shadows with a cool draft in the air as well as an impressive skylight showcasing the evening glow.. It was void of sunlight, weathered, and looked to be a place of prayer judging from the alter and various statues of what looked to be the worshiped gods of whomever lived here previously. It was huge, roughly the size of 2 olympic swimming pools. The room is quiet, only the sounds being that of wild life and leaves of surrounding trees blowing in the calming wind could be heard from the open space. Dimas rests comfortably in my room, waiting patiently and laying on some blankets made from the softest fleece that I swiped from an unsuspecting man with a cart of goods, heading towards another village a bit farther from here.  "Do not hold back if you wish  to remain conscious." Santana says with a subtle warning tone.  We take our positions. Santana more relaxed, standing with one foot in front of the other, resting on his back heel and body slightly tilted to the side  as his shoulders gently flex in anticipation. My body adapting more of a street-fighter pose out of clear nervousness. Sweet bejeezus he's gonna cream me if I'm not fast enough to retaliate ......wait I should rephrase that... Even worse...what will they do to me if he bests me? I was sweating already and Wammu hasn't even-

"Fight!"

Santana did not move first like I thought he would initially...he was waiting for me to make the first move. I gulped and decided to lunge at him with a closed fist, he blocked it by grabbing it with his own hand, the pressure almost unbearable. Distracting him, I swiftly punch him in the abdomen.  No affect... he had the upper hand.  Kars was smirking and Esidisi stood with his arms crossed glancing at both of us before keeping it on my form.  I grunt and deck him under the chin with my knee which causes him to release my hand and lose balance momentarily before he regained his composure. By the time he found his balance I had done a back flip to create some distance.  Out of impulse I punch at one of the many statues in the room. It comes tumbling down but before it can hit the ground, I kick it with my foot so it lands into my hands with the newfound strength I had acquired and I throw it across the room like a skilled fisherman with a harpoon. Santana breaks it, eyes stone cold. Kars's features flash with interest , Esidisi  snorts in amusment. " Is that the best you can do for Lord Kars dear y/n? Perhaps you need a little motivation."He looked at Wammu, who nodded at his silent command. He was egging me on and it took me a second to keep my emotions in check. I did not want to flip my shit on him of all beings.  Wammu took his position in front of Santana setting his face into an expression of determination. Without warning he was readying his arms in front of him...gaining speed as they began to spin at an uncontrollable rate like the blades of a helicopter angrily slicing through the air. I gasped knowing full well what he was going to do.

"Divine Sandstorm!!!" Panicking, I feel the shift in the air as my feet slowly glide across the floor dangerously close to my impending doom. Esidisi grinned wildly. I began to look around frantically trying to grab hold of something to no avail. Out of the corner of my eye, I shoot a glare at Esidisi and use my open palms to push through the air. The invisible force is pushed  forward and acts like barrier to Wammu's strong winds.  Both Wammu and Santana are pushed backwards by the rippling effect hitting them square in the face. I stomp my foot into the stone floor harshly, breaking them into long sharp edged rocks that lunge out of the ground and are directed towards the underlings. Similar to arrows, they lodge themselves into their skin, hitting certain pressure points in order to cease their movement. With a rush of adrenaline, my heart beats faster and has my mind in a frenzy. Waving my hand in the air a final time,  I used the surrounding nature to make my weapon of choice. It became a long staff, comprised of the wood of a sturdy Ceiba tree attached to a large Imperial Topaz wrapped with red dyed leather, and encased/secured in basalt stones. All in all it looked pretty badass. Roaring a battle cry and baring my teeth like a wild animal, I bolted to the two before a firm hand was placed on my  sternum. I stopped before I could stumble to the ground face first. Looking up to see who halted my advances was none other than Lord Kars himself.

" Well well well....your actions have been quite amusing this evening pet. You may stop for the time being and let the others recover. Kars looked at me with those dazzling ruby orbs taking in my bruised and sweaty appearance as I panted heavily and readjusted my composure. Silently he made his way across the room to where he was originally seated, only to notify Esidisi that he would announce his departure from the alter room and let him handle the others. Kars walked to the doorway hair flowing carelessly behind him. Bit before he could leave he turned ever so slightly and said," You intrigue me to say the least..." I blinked, and exhaled a deep breath. Santana and Wammu were slowly healing their wounds from the fight, somewhat content on the fact that the rocks had dislodged themselves from their skin and fell to the ground below. " Hm, I would say your resilience is admirable. Keep it up and you may be accepted in the ranks eventually..." Esidisi says back facing me to look over the underlings. " You did quite a number on them might I add. Just don't be naive enough to think that Wammu and Santana cannot turn the tables on you in an instant."  I nod my head and say quietly. " I thankyou for your most needed criticism of my tactics master. If you will allow me to do so, I would like to tend to the few wounds I was given in my quarters.." Looking to him expectantly, he waves his hand nonchalantly in the direction of the door. " So be it, you may leave now."  Bowing again out of respect I head towards the door, not before I look back at the expressions of Wammu and Santana. Santana was already off of the floor crossing his arms but smirking at my attempts on besting him. Wammu sat cross legged with hands resting in his lap. A look of satisfaction graced the bronzed man. " Well done y/n.."  He says calmy. His eyes landed on mine that instant and I couldn't help but blush at the subtle praise. I smiled softly and bowed leaving towards the direction of my room, eagerly waiting to fill Dimas in on the details of my evening..albeit in a one-sided conversation.
