A/N: Welp the semester is over and I can finally write the way I want to without as many distractions... It was supposed to be posted on Nov. 30th, but life happens. So I hope you enjoy this chapter~!

- Expect Nothing ...Appreciate Everything....

Santana POV

In a matter of minutes Y/N arrive, strolling through the garden that led conveniently towards the outside of the temple. "I hope this attire is to your liking master Santana.." She says with a hint of apprehension. My face displays my obvious enthrallment, but I school it back to its original cool facade. " Your garments and tresses are very appealing to me..." I state. Wasting no time, I extend my hand towards hers. After processing my compliment and blushing a soft pink across her cheeks, she takes hold of my hand in hers. "I will be taking you to a location that I usually go to, to relish in the peace and solitude away from the others and numerous annoyances throughout my day.."  She blinks and nods, her other hand coming up to wrap around my forearm as we make our way through the hidden exit. I made it a point to let her get comfortable in our silence. Her eyes flickering to my person and then to the unfamiliar surroundings. Lush forest and warm rays blocked out from the thick green canopy above.  I could feel the tension disappear while scanning through the path that I memorized for myself. The place of interest was coming into view so I slowed my gate so that Y/N could match it; walking side by side. The hovel was a modest size with aged bricks painted a burnt sienna and indigo. Thick green vines and carpet-like moss grew through various cracks and crevices. We were finally near the entryway.

Normal POV~

Santana allowed me to go through the entrance first following suit. Cyan irises rake themselves across the room and take in the objects laying around. Terra cotta pots,  smooth vases glazed in a brown mustard yellow and salmon pink. Small figurines sitting on shelves. Decorations  ranging between animals; like birds and fish, to people; the average pillarman, pillarwoman, or human native. Lastly, at the center of the room stood a medium sized kiln to heat the glazed pieces.  "Do you recognize this place?" Came the deep voice from behind me, slow and curious. My smile was warm and full of excitement as I turn around and responded. "I did not know you were interested in making pottery or sculpting for that matter..."  He smiled genuinely with a softness that I have never seen before.  "So you are familiar with this type of artistry?" I nodded, stalking toward an area with assorted supplies. "So...what shall we do in our leisure time?" I ask Santana with childlike curiosity.  "You can create anything that you would like." Santana then  places supplies in a sitting area for me to begin my with creation. Shyly I question him again as he gets situated in his own work area.

"What will you be making master?" He looks towards me from my side. Due to the positions of our work stations, he sees the majority of me from the sagittal plane. "I will know truly by the end of the process I am sure." He closed his eyes in content at his own confidence in his response. "Well then, let's get started.." From then on we sat in silence molding and eyeing our pieces with heated concentration. I decided to go with what I know, not without giving the piece my own flare. As I began to form the base of the cup, layer upon layer it began to protrude out like newly budded flower in bloom.  The shape was finished. Soon after I carved some lovely birds and arrowheads in meso-american styles from memory into the body of the cup. Now it was time for the glaze....  Dishes with premixed glaze were placed near the cup. I settled with a teal, creamy white, and a brown-ish gold. All beautiful complimentary colors when fired off in the kiln later. By the looks of it Santana was already finished.. I felt my cheeks burning from the unapologetic staring  and stuttered over my speech. "Uhm..m-master I didn't know you were finished."  Subconsciously I twirled a lock of my  hand around my finger. "There was no harm done in finishing after me  Y/N... Would you care to show me your finished piece?" He was being awfully kind about this so I felt relaxed and brave enough to show him...only if he shows his as well. "I'll show you mine if you show me yours." I playfully smirked in his direction. He sent me an amused smirk in return then sighed. "If you insist." At the same time we backed away from our creations to show them off. I showed him my modest cup, knowing that it was not much but it was still something I was proud of. He complimented the efforts that were put into making the piece and I felt bashful in that moment. However, I audibly gasped when taking a look at Santana's. The ever silent and thoughtful Pillarman took in my features, clearly amused at the way my eyes almost sparkled in awe of his work.

There in front of me was a carved statue of myself. Interpreted from his point of view. The base was made into a small patch of grass that I was sat upon. Eyes fixated on the skull of a small animal, and a face that looked so full of life. Looking over the piece I spotted more beautiful details; like the fact that I was sitting in the dress that I currently have on, barefoot, and the vibes just screamed impish in nature. I looked. Like. A. Goddess. ( Ya'll are cute so don't deny it.) " master Santana...it's so beautiful." In that moment I gazed at him with utter joy. No one and I mean no one, has ever done something so special for me. "I am pleased to know that you've taken a liking to my work."  I nodded. "I'm more than pleased. This is and forever will be special to me."  I looked toward the outside. It was not dusk quite yet, but the path would need to be lit up by a torch in order to see a well. Santana followed my stare and then turned back to say something else. "It would be best for us to head down the path now, back to the temple. I will worry about firing the pieces in the mean time tomorrow." "Okay." I simply replied as I moved frrom my spot to stand by his side.  He moved as well, taking one of the torches closest to the door, dousing it in oil, then flicking two flint rocks together to create the fire. I was silent but clearly impressed at this.  We left the same way we came, arm linked around his large one in the growing darkness while he lit the way by torchlight. I thoroughly enjoyed the quality time spent with Santana and would make it known to him once we reach our destination. After the quiet trek through the forest came to an end, we stood facing the secret entrance to the garden once again. I turned to him. Santana's features were enhanced  by the glow of the flamed torch and the embers that carried on the gentle breeze. Being as close as we were made me feel very warm and safe. I almost didn't want it to end. "I really enjoyed the time spent together master. You really have a gift for sculpting too." I smiled shyly up at the Pillarman, removing my arm from his. "Like wise." We stayed silent for a few seconds before I broke it by getting on my tip toes and guiding his face towards mine, in an attempt to plant a soft peck on his cheek that left him stock still. Whispering a quiet 'Thanks again.', and heading inside to check on my feline friend.

I had alot of fun writing this part and I hope you enjoyed it too. I just love pottery making. :3
