~Kars P.O.V.~

As I sit cross-legged on an old rug, I let my mind wonder. For centuries I have been perfecting my invention. The stone masks that I have created need just one more thing to perfect their primary use...to walk the Earth beneath the radiance of the sun. All I need is the  power from the red stone of Aja. "By all the stars in the heavens..I will have that stone." I say aloud in slight irritation which catches the attention of Esidisi, my right hand. "Are we close to obtaining the stone yet old friend?" He says, his painted lips pursed and his arms crossed.  We must continue our search elsewhere, but we are indeed closer than we started." Esidisi was about to say more but we were interrupted by the sudden appearance of one of our underlings. Wammu. " Master Kars and Master Esidisi, I seek an audience with you both pertaining to most important matters." We both give each other a look before I speak again. "What ails you Wammu? There is clearly something that you find bothersome by the look on your face." Wammu stared back and forth between  Esidisi and myself then stated," There appears to be an intruder who carries the marks and demeanor of our race my lord." I raise a brow at this, somewhat intrigued. " Oh? Then bring him here." "My apologies master, but it is a 'she'." Shocked and curious, I look at Esidisi once again. His face was that of skepticism. " You are quite humorous Wammu, but I must warn you... that isn't the best joke I've heard over the years." He was dead serious and Wammu caught on to his disdain. My frown was immediately replaced with a smirk. "Fine, I'll humor your story. If this..female is what you say she is..then bring her forth at once.

"Yes my master." Wammu's winds whipped around his figure q

I looked around the room before sighing, thinking of something to say. Maybe make small talk. Santana just stood there..MENACINGLY..  "U-uuh....so are you always this lively?" His eyes that were previously facing the entrance to the old room now landed on my smaller frame. "Your attempts of initiating conversation are useless..." I mentally sweatdropped at this. "Well when will Wammu be back?" As if he heard me, Wammu appeared in front of us. "Our masters wish to interrogate her. Follow me." I bite my lip and take a deep breath. Here it goes..I thought.  Santana grabs me by my arm with a firm grip and leads me to the main room alongside Wammu. The dark corridors making my mind race with all of the what if's. In only a short time, we arrive at our destination, and both of the underlings kneel at the two ancient beings in front of them. I followed suit without hesitation. "Master Kars we have the intruder."  With a deep and alluring tone, Kars spoke. " Ah, yes you may rise now. Now bring her closer to me." Not missing a beat, Wammu hands me to the leader of the Pillarmen. In reality I wanted to drool and fangirl at his powerful stature, but now was definitely not the time. We were inches away from each other, until Kars rose to his feet. He began to walk in circles around me, silently judging for hat felt like ages. Then he stopped. "Esidisi." he said. "Take a look at this intriguing creature." ...Creature..?Really? Esidisi moved from the corner of the room to face us. "Well well... aren't you a pretty one." He stood beside Kars with a sly grin. "By the looks of it.. you do look like one of us..why is that, woman; who are you ?" Sweat began to form on my forehead. Be careful what you say, he's crafty as hell.

My body was shaking as a shiver ran down my spine. I say carefully," My name is y/n, I do not know how I got here. I am alone and my only wish is to be granted your protection, and in return I would be your loyal servant."Esidisi chuckled at this and placed a rough hand on his chin. Kars remained silent. "What makes you think that Lord Kars would spare you so easily. He could bleed you dry if he wished. Or maybe...throw you out into the sun to be reduced to ashes." The sly grin he wore turned into a rather shit eating grin as he said this. I was deeply pissed at this cheeky bastard. But I cannot falter. "I can prove to you how useful I may be if you allow me to figure out my abilities and do your bidding." He seemed willing to accept this challenge, but all final decisions would be made by their leader. After taking the time to observe your demeanor, Kars made his decision.
