Malibu Mansion No POV 6 years before Iron Man 1.

It was a rainy night at the Mansion, Tony just got out of bed and puts on a robe as he went to his kitchen to get himself a drink. He was enjoying life until his doorbell rung.

Tony: who is that?

Tony went to the door and opened it as he saw nothing until he looked down. There he saw a little boy, he seemed skinny and a little pale as he had a small red backpack. His clothes were wet due to the rain as he was shaking.

Tony:<kneels down> who are you kid?

???:<hands him a letter>

Tony:<grabs it> come in, it's too cold and wet out here for you.

Tony let the boy inside as he closed the door, he set the kid on the couch as he brought a towel and wrapped it around as he turned some lights. He got a better look at the boy, he is pale, he looked slight malnourished, he was skinny as the shirt he was wearing looked a little too big on him and it was a normal size for an 8 year old. The thing that stood out were some visible bruises and it wasn't the kind of bruises a clumsy kid will get, it was the kind that a kid will get if they are hit a lot.

Tony opens the letter as he was worried for the kid and how he looked. He put the TV on and let the kid watch it while he read the letter.

Letter: "Tony, if you're reading this, then this is your son. He's a waste of space, good for nothing. You might not remember me, why would you since we just had a one-night stand. I sent him over to you so you can take care of him or give him to an orphanage. I don't want him. He's just another expense. I named him Wade. Do what you want with him, I don't care."

The letter was signed by a Carla Rose. Tony wanted to crumble the letter but instead folded again just in case he needed in the future, he left the TV on some cartoon for kids his age that had animals but it seems Wade changed it to a show named Max Steel.

Tony walked over and kneeled next to him.

Tony: your name is Wade?

Wade: yes.

Tony: wait here.

Tony went to his fridge and got a plastic cup and filled it with milk as he walked back to Wade.

Tony: here. It's milk.

Wade:<grabs it and started drinking it> thank you.

Tony: why did your mom kick you out?

Wade: because her bills were getting expensive and she founded easier to kick me out.

Tony: I see. Don't you have any other family member?

Wade: no. She ripped my birth certificate to pieces. I'm not her child legally so the doctor gave a blood test and found out I was your son and made me a new birth certificate. <pulls the birth certificate from his backpack and shows it to Tony>

Tony takes it as it did say, Wade Stark. Tony didn't want the child either because he doesn't want to become like his own father. Tony thought about it and there's a chance that Wade will get a nice family but at the same time there's a chance he will get a bad family. Maybe much worse than Carla.

Wade: you don't want me either, do you?

Tony: I-

Wade: it's okay. I'll leave in the morning.

Tony: no. No.

Tony didn't want to become his own father, but then again he doesn't need to be. Maybe, just maybe, this child could be an improvement to his own life, it is already pretty great. If he just outright abandons Wade, he will be no better than Carla and he will be worse than his dad, plus it's better if the press found out that he had a son by seeing that he is taking care of him than him being on the streets.
