Chapter 16: Other Asgardians

Shield Base No POV

Wade was flipping through pages of many books that he had requested as if he were trying to find some sort of explanation, but he knew there were no answers in these books. They are all in advanced science which he picked up just be reading them once or twice.

He put them away as he went to the hammer as he went to grab the handle of the hammer, however he was very hesitant on this because for one he was definitely not worthy to have the powers of a God. He was just a doctor.

He overheard a beeping as he went to the computer and another energy signature just like the one Shield picked up that got them to call him. He went to where Coulson was.

Coulson; what the hell was that?

Agent: I don't know, sir. We got massive energy readings out of nowhere and then they just disappeared.

Sitwell: fifteen miles due northwest.

Coulson: let's go take a look. Wade, stay here with your suit ready.

Wade: alright.

Asgard

Loki went to the Vault of Asgardian Relics as he tapped the ground with Odin's spear as the Destroyer Armor walked out as Amora walked over.

Loki: I thought I told you to stop them from trying to get my brother.

Amora: they really are loyal to Thor.

Loki; you will ensure my brother does not return. <looks at the Destroyer> Destroy everything.

New Mexico

Coulson and the Agents were on the side as he touched the area mark that the Bifrost leaves.

Coulson; get somebody from linguistics down here.

The sky darkened again as thunder was crashing as this can be seen for miles as the citizens of the town can see it where Thor, Jane, Selvig, Darcy, Sif, and the Warriors Three could see it from as does Wade from the Shield compound. Not long after the Bifrost drops both Amora and the Destroyer as Amora stands in front of the Destroyer as she looks around.

Sitwell: is that one of Stark's?

Coulson; I don't know. The guy never tells me anything. The girl is dressed strangely. <grabs a megaphone> hello. You are using unregistered weapons technology. Identify yourselves.

Amora: Destroyer.

The Destroyer opened its face.

Coulson; here we go.

Instead of showing a face like Coulson expected, it charged up a very destructive laser.

Coulson: incoming!

The Shield agents got out of the way as the Destroyer fired its laser at multiple cars and even killed a few armed agents as the explosions could be seen for miles.

Town

Thor: Jane, you have to leave.

Jane: what are you gonna do?

Thor: I'm staying here.

Volstagg; Thor's going to fight with us!

Thor: my friends, I'm just a man. I'll only be in the way, or worse, get one of you killed. But I can help get these people to safety.

Jane: well, if you're saying, then so am I.

Thor: we'll need some time.

Fandral: you'll have it!
