Malibu Manor No POV

Wade woke up before Jarvis could wake him up as he saw his medigun invention collecting dust. He cleaned up the parts that were already in place before he properly got rid of the chemicals he had to start over so he can find a new solution. He heard a knock on his door as he was going over his formulas.

Wade: come in.

Tony:<comes in> hey, kiddo. I need your help.

Wade: with your arc reactor?

Tony; yeah. Come on.

Wade followed Tony to his workshop and they spent the morning making a more sustainable arc reactor as Wade helped a lot due to his medical knowledge. Pepper wondered why they were so quiet so she went to check on them and saw Wade holding the new arc reactor.

Tony: hey.

Pepper: what are you doing? What is Wade holding?

Tony: the improvement.

Pepper: oh, my God, is that the thing that's keeping you alive?

Tony; it was. It is now an antique. What Wade is holding is what will be keeping me alive for the foreseeable future.

Wade:<puts rubber gloves on>

Tony: Wade's gonna swap it for an upgraded unit, and he has surgeon hands so he will do the swap.

Pepper: the swap?

Wade: replace his old arc reactor with the new one.

Tony: now, there's an exposed wire under this device. And it's contacting the socket wall and causing a little bit of a short.

Wade:<grabs the arc reactor and pulls it out slowly while disconnecting> Pepper, please hold this.

Pepper: got it.<grabs it and puts it on the table> oh my god.

Wade: alright. Next step.

Wade reaches in slowly into Tony's chest.

Pepper: what's he doing?

Tony; he's reaching in and gently lifting a wire out. He's doing it carefully so it doesn't touch the socket wall.

Pepper: what happens if he does?

Wade: it goes "beep".

Pepper:<hears something> what's that sound? Is that pus?

Tony; it's not pus. It's an inorganic plasmic discharge from the device, not from my body.

Pepper:<covers her nose> it smells.

Wade: I'm wearing gloves and I've been trained to ignore the smell. Got the copper wire. <slowly lifts it up without touching the sides and lifts out the magnet.

Wade: there we go. <puts the magnet on the table>

Pepper: Tony, what's wrong?

Tony: nothing, I'm just going into cardiac arrest.

Pepper: why?

Wade:<grabs the new arc reactor and connects the wire>

Tony;<screams as he was energized>

Wade: there we go. <inserts the arc reactor, twists it and secures it>

Pepper: are you okay?

Tony; yeah, I feel great. Wade you did great. You do have surgeon hands.

Wade: I know.<takes off the gloves and throws them in the trash>

Pepper: don't ever, ever, ever, ever ask me to do anything like that.
