"LUZ?!" I gasped, pressing my face against the window, my ears dipping down with dismay. I saw Luz, of all people, and... Willow?? Covering her with purple goop? What was going on?? I rushed out the nearest doorway, stomping up to the duo.
"LUZ! WHAT are YOU doing HERE?"
"Oh- Hi y/n! I mean- grobble gubble gwoooob"
"Y/n! Do you know Luz? She's pretending to be my abomination for class!"
"Oh.. that's- uh- lovely?" I cringed.
"Come on, let's go!" Willow smiled, pushing the huge pot Luz was hiding in. I followed behind, questioning Willow's strength, I mean, man was she strong! We soon arrived at the classroom, so far so good. I examined the students there, but one stood out to me, a girl with green hair and a star pin. Willow noticed me looking at her and whispered her name,
"That's Amity, the top student"
"Man, she seems smug.."
"Excuse me, WHAT did you just say?!" Of course, she just HAD to hear me..
"Hmm.. You must be the newbie, y/n, hmph, know your place, I am the top student, Amity Blight," she huffed
"Uhm, yeah, I kind of already knew that Great Wise One," I mocked, smirking, "We'll see how long you stay the top student" I challenged, Willow was in awe at my challenge for the throne, and Amity could not look more displeased.
"Class, it's time for presentations! Amity, why don't you go first, set an example." Amity sent one final glare my way, before bringing her pot up to the front of the class. She did a slight bow before opening her pot to present her flawless abomination.
"Very good! This may be your best yet!" The teacher praised her as she stepped back to her seat. The teacher continued to call up students one after another until it was finally Willow's turn.
"Willow? Please step up." The teacher called, Willow gulped, I wondered how much trouble she would get in if anyone found out she snuck a human into school.
"W-well, uhm, here's mine.." Luz sprang out of the pot, painted in abomination goo.
"Gwarble goowrbb!"
"Amazing! Absolutely flawless! A+!" The teacher walked up to a furious Amity plucking the star off her chest and handing it to Willow. The bell rang, it was time for lunch.
