(Ayako's POV)
Drip.
Drip.
Ah. . . I'm crying? Aw man...
Nah, it's just the rain. . .
Drip.
Oh, I think I heard some footsteps.
A sudden noise of some heavy stuff falling came from nearby.
There was a cluster of files, scattered all across the floor.
Oh, the files will get all wet.
I feel pity for the guy who drop-
"Ayako!?"
"J. . . Jayden?" I managed to speak.
I barely recognized him. Everything was blurry, I could only see his blonde hair.
"Are you okay? Ayako let me help you."
He offered me his hand.
"I'm sorry, Jayden. . . But I am unable to lift my arm. Or move my body- *coughs*"
He stood there, thinking for a solution.
"I cannot leave you in the rain." He sounded concerned.
"Ah, thanks, but you-"
"What happened to your neck?"
He leaned in closer to inspect.
"I-It got cut." I replied, my voice shaking.
Suddenly, his eyes grew wide open.
What? Did he realize something?
"Ayako," He looked me in the eye and said, "Can you let me touch your neck? It's wounded. It needs to be aided immediately."
I nodded in agreement. This was no time for being ashamed, my life was on stake!
He gently touched the corner of my neck, but I could hardly feel it as my body was already in pain.
Sighs.
All this pain is making it all so difficult. . .
I can't think straight.
Neither can I. . . Get myself together.
Will I make it?
As I was wondering about whether I would be able to make it alive, all the pain from my body suddenly vanished.
