"Ayako, stop playing dumb."
"What do you mean?" She reverted in an innocent tone.
"Stop it. I won't get fooled by that stupid look in your eyes ," I said, rolling my eyes.
She stared at me, blankly.
I know this is her plan to play me dumb, and I won't let her!
"Listen," She insisted, "I am not like Jayden, I don't play dumb."
She had a point, but I still chose to ignore her. Folding my arms, I stood straight and tapped my foot to the floor, waiting for an answer.
While I was was staring at her expectantly, it seemed as if the bell had already gone and the boys had returned from the football match.
Jayden passed by us, eyeing me suspiciously near the bloody wall.
I hesitated, but didn't mind it.
Jayden might be wondering what we are doing here. He WOULD get as suspicious as we felt when he rescued Ayako.
I thought more. . .
Did he really belong to the dark realm?
Or was it just a. . . Theory?
Wait, since when did I started thinking so much!?
I cleared my throat.
"S-Shall we return to our seats, R-Riko?" Ayako stuttered.
"Uh, yeah sure."
Upon reaching the classroom, I still couldn't help but ponder on.
Look at him, behaving so innocently, almost like nothing ever happened between. . . Him. . .
I shifted my gaze,
And Ayako. . .
Towards Ayako.
