I was full of energy. My blood pressure was high. I could feel my smirk come on when I aimed. I took a deep breathe. I closed my eyes and pulled the trigger. I looked at the target. It hit right in the middle. I was shocked.
"Are you sure you have never shot a crossbow before?" Hunter said handing me another arrow.
"Yeah....I can't believe I actually got it!" I said grabbing the arrow.
"Oh my god, Alex. Your a pro!" AJ said grabbing an arrow.
"Your turn, AJ." Hunter said looking at her with a calm straight face.
AJ pulled the bow back in her cheek. She closed her eyes and mumbled something. She opened her eyes and release the bow. She opened her eyes and saw she hit the middle too. She got the biggest smile and started jumping up and down.
"I actually did it!" AJ said smiling.
"Well....Ladies...girls. Just leave when it's time for lunch." Hunter said putting down the arrows.
Hunter turned around and started walking to the door. Ginger walk in.
"Hey gu.."
Ginger feel to the ground. Hunter ran over and helped her up. He put his hand out.
"Hey are you okay?!" Hunter said picking her up and sitting her in the chair.
"Yeah....I just hit something or someone." She said looking at him.
"Yeah..." Hunter said putting his hand on the back of his head, "you hit me...I couldn't see you there."
"Oh." Ginger turned as red as a tomato, "Well thanks for helping me. Haha."
"Yeah." Hunter said with a grin.
Hunter ran out and slammed the door. I guess he was embarrassed. Ginger was her own world. She had the biggest smile and her eyes were wide. Oh Ginger. Her first love.
"Um...Who was that? I just want to know because I need to ask him something. It's totally not that I like him or anything. Haha." Ginger said smiling.
"It's Hunter and okay loser." AJ said with a smirk.
"Well what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in Room 254?" I ask putting a arrow in.
"Yeah but it was as boring as hell. I was trying to find Room 1 but it was too far. So I stopped here." Ginger said rubbing her left temple.
"Oh your bad aren't you." I said with a laugh.
"Good one Alex." AJ said laughing.
"Okay guys. I know I'm a goody two shoes but I can still beat your ass." Ginger said with a serious look.
We all looked at each other and laughed. We were all good friends. That's all you need at this time we're in. We're all sixteen and can still have fun. Even if we live in hell.
