"Instincts are driven by different forces. As a pack animal you tend to rely on others and trust their judgement on what is to be done, how and where thus the natural instinct one may have as an individual is distributed to a group. An unbreakable bond shared among each other like blood to relatives. What happens when a pack animal is left on his own, alone? Their world turns to face everything with a single eye. Judgement on decisions is based on a single debate unknown to them on who to trust, believe or hate. So based on a single audience they turn to acknowledging a different path one where he or she is an Apex. The top most feared beast in society. Their instincts are driven by the urge to survive and for that to happen everyone becomes an enemy or competition. Once that has happened  staying sharp and alert is the best course of action. Watching like a hawk on every movement your competition makes, keeping a distance between those that are weak and proving to the strong you are not weak yourself. As a wolf it's easy for me to do that. Rely on myself but as a human the heart is a  strong and powerful weapon to tear one down. So no matter how hard you rely on your instincts it will always lead you astray to satisfy the wrong choices."

"I wish I did cause every time I closed my eyes thoughts found themselves in a different direction where I see myself falling, the question is will you catch me?" Words left in her mind repeating themselves over and over like a playlist on loop. You know how one song played over and over sticks in your head like glue to paper that's how it was for her. Urgh!! That bastard every single ... Why can't he leave her alone. Derrick was a nuisance every time he opened his mouth and every time he talked his sentences always found a way of re-writing itself into her mind even now when she is trying to concentrate on her calculus homework God she should have just stuck with geometry. Trying to ignore the loud echo in her brain by listening to Adele's Go easy on me. Was it working? Not so much, the louder the volume the more vivid the memory got. How dare he say such words to her, playing her like a toy and then leave the room smirking to himself as if he has some kind of victory lap awaiting him, ass hat.

Her mind was playing tic tac, with two both disturbing memories dancing in her head. As much as there was Derrick's annoying echo there was also the 17 year old Japanese vampire's voice of doom at the edge of her memories. She hasn't had a wink of sleep ever since the warning. Why did it feel like her problems were just upgrading. At the beginning of it, it all started with revenge, the end of vampires, peace to her ancestors but now things are different, Seth's new experiment that they are barely aware of and the two new visitors following Derrick around like their lives depended on it, who are clearly way off to be normal, could it be? Are the two randomly new students the key to her promised doom. Ruby quickly shoves her books aside getting her headphones off and rushing down stairs where Mick was busy laughing at something on T.V.  She should really drag him away from that device before it turns his social life non-existent.

"We need to talk." Ruby requests sitting on a single chair right next to Mick. "What is this about? It better be good, I am in the middle of ..." "Snow white and the seven dwarfs ..." "And the huntsman get it right." Shouts the frustrated man while pausing the moving. "Okay I get it not like you've watched it like a thousand times." "Are we counting now," "Nop, I need to ask you something important." Mick turns giving the girl the attention she seeks uncovering the blanket up to his shoulder. "Am ready to listen." "A week ago we came back from Japan. A week of me drinking warm milk to get a shut eye from the nightmares." "Am not getting you." "Getting there, he said something is coming, what if that something is someone, two someones to be specific." The thought does put an idea through Mick's brain as the wheels in his head start turning. Him and Dean have been trying to figure out what the mystery is? What was coming? Dean went through several surveillance missions himself getting nothing until recently when he spotted two new members of Seth's nest with their other questionable target Derrick doing some night exercise beyond that nothing else was suspicious. Indeed Ruby's suggestion could be linked to the two new kids on the block.
