I wake up early, probably because of the unbearable pain from yesterdays battle. As I head outside I see the sun rising. I quickly run to the desert, towards where the caverns were, and start heading down. As I explore the caverns, I come across a sandy abandoned house. As I look inside I find what looks like a dusty old flute. I inspect it seeing strange carvings in the side. As I go to play it, a basket appears magically. I watch as a snake shoots out of it, sitting high in the cave. I look up to see it had stopped at the entrance of another cavern. I climb up the snake and head into the cavern. As I look around, I see what looks like ruins. As I look at the walls, I see ancient symbols lining one of the walls. I reach my hand out to dust off the ruins, when the symbols start glowing brightly. I watch as sand falls from one of the cavern walls, revealing a ruinous door. As I walk through, a large room is lit up with something glowing in the middle. The walls line with symbols, and pillars are scattered sporadically. As I look at the strange object In the center of the room, it looks as if it's leading elsewhere. In the center shows a desert. I go to walk through it ending in some ruins. It looks as if it were some ancient civilization. As I look at some of the symbols I hear an unfamiliar voice behind me. "Halt Stranger!" I turn around to see someone in what looks like some form of blue steel armor covered in sand, with a trident to match. As he draws near, I sense an overwhelming power from him. "Who are you." I ask. He doesn't reply. He holds his trident pointed toward me. "Your coming with me." He says. "And don't think of running." Not seeing any other options I follow him. He taps the ground with the base of his spear and sits waiting for something to happen. "Why did we stop" I ask. "Silence." He says. Suddenly the ground shakes throwing me off balance. He seems completely unfazed by the earthquake happening right below us. I watch as what looks like a shark jumps out of the sand. The strange man hits me with the base of the spear, knocking me toward the shark. "Get on." He shouts. I quickly jump onto the shark. He jumps on and taps the shark with the base of his trident. It shoots across the desert at blinding speeds nearly knocking me off. We stop at what looks like an ancient castle. The strange man pushes me off the sand shark, and forces me to head into the ruined castle. He leads me down a large hallway, into a throne room. Atop the throne sits a man in a sand covered cloak, and a silver crown. "What brings you here, trespasser?" He shouts. I try to think of something, as appearing out of nowhere would rise suspicion, and would probably not be believed. I tell my story anyways. "I don't know how I got here." I say. "All I know is I went through ancient ruins and found a portal to this place." The king looks at me for a moment. "So your telling me the old portal is still active." He says. "It's how I got here." The king sits quietly. "Can you tell me what this place is?" I ask. I feel something hit me in the back of the head. "You do not speak unless spoken to." The armored man says. "Vassal!" The king shouts. "Do not strike our guests." I sit bewildered. Since when am I a guest. I think to myself. They have only been treating me like a criminal. "To answer your question." The king says "you are in the restless dunes." I hear Vassal mumble something to himself. "Any chance there is a way out of here." I ask. The king shakes his head. "Unless you have one of those magic mirrors, you can't leave." I reach in my pockets. I pull out the magic mirror. "Am I free to leave, I ask the king" He nods. Holding up the mirror, I quickly reappear back at home. "Where have you been?" Andrew asks me. "Some old kingdom." I tell him. Andrew looks shocked. "Was it in the desert?" He shouts. "Why what's wrong with that." I ask. "It's the home the warrior Bereft Vassal. A dangerous elite soldier. He is feared across the world." He says frightened. "Vassal, you mean the soldier who brought me to the king?" I ask. "Yes, he is one of the most feared, besides Yharim." He says. "And who is that" I say. "You got a lot to learn." Andrew says.
"You should go rest, you look like you have had a long day.
