Gwen sat alone in the confessional, wringing her hands nervously. She had just seen Duncan again, and now she couldn't shake the feeling that he was going to come between her and Courtney.
"I know I shouldn't be worried," she said to the camera. "Courtney chose me over him, and I know she's over him. But what if she's not? What if she still likes him and was lying to me?"
As she spoke, she heard the door to the confessional open. She froze, hoping it wasn't Duncan or anyone else she didn't want to talk to.
"Oh, hey. I didn't realize you were in here." Courtney's voice called out.
Gwen breathed a sigh of relief as Courtney walked in and sat down next to her.
"How's your burned hand?" Courtney asked, noticing the bandage on Gwen's hand.
"It's getting better, thanks to you," Gwen replied with a small smile.
They sat there in silence for a moment, but the tension between them was palpable. Finally,
Courtney spoke up.
"You know, Gwen, I just wanted to say thank you. For being there for me after everything that
happened with Duncan. You've been such a good friend to me."
Gwen felt her heart sink at the mention of Duncan's name, but she tried to stay calm. "Of course, Courtney. I'll always be here for you, no matter what."
Courtney looked at her for a moment, and then leaned in to kiss her. The kiss was gentle at first, but then it deepened and became more passionate. Courtney wrapped her arms around Gwen's neck, her hands becoming tangled in the goth's smooth and silky hair. Gwen had one hand and the tan girl's waist and the other holding Courtney's face. Gwen bit Courtney's bottom lip, making her moan and grasp onto Gwen's hair. Gwen took this opportunity to slip her tongue in her Courtney's mouth and as their tongues met, they shared a muffled moan.
Gwen was a pretty good kisser. She had been in a decent number of relationships during middle and high school, although majority didn't last too long, as they were young.
Courtney really only had two relationships. One was with Duncan, and the other was a girl in near the end of middle school. However, her parents weren't too fond off Courtney's relationship with the girl, and she was told to never talk to that girl again, as well as be with another girl. And she was doing good following her parents' rule. Until she became friends with Gwen.
They didn't really talk too much in Island, and majority of their conversations of Action were about Gwen's 'flirtatious' encounters with Duncan. But that all changed in World Tour. Since they were on the same team, they were kind of forced to talk to each other. But both girls came to realize that they needed each other. It was like Courtney and Duncan, but if Duncan was a girl, hotter, nicer, more comforting, and pretty much every nice trait you could think of.
Eventually, the girls slowly retreated from their passionate kiss, blushing hard and avoiding eye contact.
"That was... wow." Gwen said, rubbing her arm.
"Yeah." Was all Courtney could mutter, realizing what she just did.
The girls sat there in silence, trying to process what had happened between them.
Eventually, Gwen broke the silence.
"Um, if it wasn't obvious from that kiss, I like you. Like, I like, like you. Like, a lot."
Courtney giggled after Gwen finished, making Gwen both confused and very nervous.
"I like you too. Like, I like, like you. Like, a lot." Courtney spoke, repeating Gwen word for word.
The girls shared a laugh before locking eyes.
"Wanna make out again?" Gwen suggested, placing Courtney on her lap and having Courtney straddle her.
"God, what are you, Duncan?" Courtney joked, pecking Gwen's lips.
"I'm Duncan if he was a good kisser." She mumbled before crashing her lips into Courtney's.
