A fugue state. That was how Lydia described her weekend disappearance, at least that was how the doctors had described it to her, she didn't recall any of it. Nothing from the moment she had disappeared from her hospital room to the moment she appeared at the scene of a crime, stark-naked, shaking, and confused. If not for Honey standing there with the quick thought to use the Sheriff's jacket to cover the girl, she would have continued to stand and be gawked at by a sea of confused deputies and Stiles who probably had the image still in his mind.

From what Allison had told her during first period, Lydia didn't seem all too phased about it all, she had last nine pounds, which made all the stares while she walked through the halls worth it. At least she thought it would be. Nobody had actually explained to her yet what that bite on her side meant, how that bite could change everything for her, she might not be a werewolf, but she was something. Something that none of them had experienced before.

As Allison explained it to her, Honey could see that something else had happened, perhaps there was something else said, something that had hit a soft spot. It didn't seem like the brunette had wanted to tell her, but with a little encouragement and reassurance, Allison confessed about the comment Lydia made. It's not like I'm related to a serial killer, she recalled the redhead saying, it was a comment that stung Honey too, even if it wasn't said to her, she could relate to it. The girl who had been missing for two days wasn't the first to make a dig, when Allison dared to come to school before the funeral it had happened two, people talking about her, wondering if she was a serial killer too, whether it ran in the family. And maybe it did, maybe she would turn out to be a killer like her aunt. A monster.

Both of the girls had that fear inside of them.

Honey tried to shake that off as she headed onto the field, prepared to spend yet another one of her free periods sitting on the bleachers, watching the lacrosse practice. She walked out to find Scott and Stiles deep in conversation, their voices hushed as they looked around them, making it clear they were talking about someone around them. Curious, Honey approached the boys, an arm around each of their shoulders, startling them as she appeared from behind. "Boys." Honey greeted them with a smile. "What have I missed?"

"Scott thinks there's another werewolf on the team," Stiles told her in a mumble, watching her face drop. He thought she was just shocked, or excited, like him, not because something struck her mind, the possibility that a particular someone she had met the other night had happened to seek out a particular Alpha werewolf, looking to accept an offer he kept handing out, one he had offered her multiple times now. "You're good with this whole thing, what do you think?" He asked, scanning the field. "Anyone look werewolf-y to you?"
