"Angel, where are you going off to?" Stopped in his tracks, frozen to his feet, Angel Dust was interrupted from his walking out to the entrance of the lobby before the cat demon from behind the bar. The spider turned, unaware of his presence, where the cat was wiping down the counter with a rag--having a brow raised in question.
"O-Oh, um..." Angel cleared his throat, swiftly turning his head in a posh manner, as if he acted not shocked of Husk. "I'm going out,"
"Seriously?" Husk's eyes were bouncing up and down on Angel to examine his attire: an over-the-shoulder pink sweater with what appeared to be a black bra underneath with the straps showing with the abdomen part of the sweater being cropped off a bit to show his stomach a bit and some jean shorts; his slender legs in dark stockings and some heals. The spider's face appeared to have a bit of makeup on, but as far as Husk was aware, it was just a bit of a light-pink eye shadow. "Dressed like that?" He grabbed out a glass, putting his elbow on the counter while shining it, he added: "Ya know that Charlie ain't gonna allow you to do sinning work."
Angel rolled his eyes, taking a few steps towards the other demon, "I ain't doin' dirty stuff, Husker," he defensively applied, "not when Vags is constantly on my fuckin' ass 'bout it; besides, we are good terms...for now, I guess."
"Just because Charlie 'n' Vagatha ain't here doesn't mean you can do whatever you want." Husk pointed out, checking the glass for smugs before reassuring it shined like a diamond. He shrugged nonchalantly and got out another glass to clean, "Besides, Charlie put in me charge to make sure you ain't still gonna do what you do. She may be out for for the rest of the week to that beach hotel, but she'll know."
Angel pouted, somewhat a bit annoyed that Husk was acting like a modest babysitter who told her younger clients they couldn't go outside in the rain because their clothes would get muddy. And with Vaggie now being on his good side they were starting to bond and become friends; while, yes, she was still strict with him, but she had become more chill with Angel doing suggested sexual jokes and remarks on his nature and was less annoyed with him. Hell, he was doing a sexual comment on someone eating a hot dog and Vaggie couldn't help but snicker--first signs of a mutual bond.
"I'm just gonna meet up wit' someon'--is that a crime?" Angel retorts.
"Not when you're plannin' to fuck 'em, that's for sure," Husk remarked, hiding a small grin which made Angel fluster up like a cockatoo's feathers.
"Hey!" Angel scoffed in annoyance and repeated himself, "Look, I just said that I am only meetin' wit' someone--not fo' drugs, not fo' sex--nothin'."
Husk rolled his eyes, not giving in to Angel's answer. Though, quite curious as the cat he is, he went and asked him a one of the five "W" questions. "Who you meetin'?"
Angel blinked, up before realizing Husk's curiosity. Though, he didn't want to give in to the person. He went and brought up the common name: "Cherri Bomb," he answered. "We're gonna get some coffee 'n' hang at her place."
The tension that was on the spider's shoulders was carefully lifted off of him as Husk went and did a small shrug. "Alright." Good, he believed him this time. But just as he was about to resume walking out the door, Husk went and said a few more words. "Wait."
The spider demon let out a small sigh, he turned around again, "Yes?" His voice tried and failed to cover up the annoyed tone he had. This made Husk do a "whatever" expression by furrowing his eyebrows and his lips being in a slight frown. He shined the glass again.
"...Since I'm practically doin' you a favor," he lifted up his head, looking directly at the spider, "you owe me a favor as well--fair game."
