"NOW, you know better!" Gabi scolded, rolling her eyes when Imani still took the shot, knowing she had school in the morning.
She didn't even need a chaser, the girl had been so used to alcohol, Bacardi was like nothing.
"What? It's good." She mumbled, pressing her lips together till they flushed a rose pink color.
Gabi shook her head annoyed, playing with her diamond bracelet. Her attention turned towards Imani when she decided to put down the shot glass and start talking. "Are you in my calculus class?"
A frown appeared on her face, it looked like she was sad but it was just her thinking face.
"I don't think so, I have that class next semester. Why is you drinking when it's our first day as seniors tomorrow?"
Imani's resting face was a small pout, a lot of people thought it was cute, but she wanted a mean mug.
"Why aren't you drinking? It's to celebrate silly, loosen up."
Gabi was more of a mom, while Imani was uncontrollable, and way out there. "Okay, last one." She mumbled, while grabbing the Pink Whitney out of Imani's hand.
"Mane," She huffed, while trying to grab the bottle back, "Party pooper."
Her friend smiled brightly. "That I am! You should sleep, did your mom say you could sleep over?"
The two had been up for a while, it was 1:24am and they had to leave for school at 8:30am.
She nodded her head slowly, a small smirk plastered on her face. Gabriella didn't find anything funny, she rolled her eyes annoyingly.
"What? I'll text her right now." Opening her phone, her eyes slightly opened. Her mom had called her 5 times before, tilting her phone away from Gabi she quickly sent a text informing her mother about her situation.
"There, happy?" A nod of her head made Mani scrunch her nose up.
The two girls stood up off the kitchen island chairs, both their hands interlocked as Gabi leaded Imani to her room.
