IMANI was tuned into her homework, twirling her pen around her finger when she was stuck on a question.
She hadn't heard from Kaiyes since lunchtime at school, his absence only irritates her because he never says why. He just shows up hours or days later, with the same ole "some light."
It was late at night, and she was tired, so tired. Her work was more important than her sleep, and it was due Tuesday morning.
Sighing deeply the girl grew tired of it, but she had to finish.
She heard a tap, then a pause. Followed along with a series of several taps. It wasn't from her door, almost like her window?
"What the fuck..." Her voice came out in a soft tone, confused.
Gabi wouldn't ever dare to come through the window, unless she was on something. Imani pouted her lips out, moving the blinds slowly, expecting to see a man dressed up in a clown suit.
But it wasn't a clown, it was Kaiyes.
He always did this it never really surprised her, just made her roll her eyes. Kai just stared at her, a small smirk plastered on his face.
Placing her hands on her hips she looked him up and down, shaking her head.
Very quickly a mug came onto his face, and he started aggressively tapping on her window. Like he was tryna wake somebody up.
She shushed him, looking back at her room door hoping her mom didn't come storming in.
Kaiyes frowned, his hands going into a praying motion. He really was sorry, the boy was just occupied.
Imani opened the window a peep, just so she could get her words through.
"I'm not lettin' you innn Kaiyes." The girl pulled up her baby blue cropped tube top, resting her hands on top of the grey Ralph Lauren boxers she had on.
"Why ma, youn miss me?" He licked his lips, eyeing her hard nipples. It was cold in her room, just the way she liked it.
She knew what he was looking at, and she rolled her eyes going to cover both her nipples from his gaze.
