"Goodnight!" Sherry yelled out to the crowd as everyone went backstage. John was in the dressing room with a sleeping infant in his arms and a sleeping one-year-old cuddled into his side. Maria smiled and kissed him softly making sure not to touch the sleeping children.
"You did amazing," John whispered and Maria smiled.
"Hey, Mars... come here." Sherry sounded scared and Maria went.
"Hm?" She hummed as she walked to where Sherry and Brian were. She saw Brian on one knee and she gasped.
"What do you say, Sher?" Sherry stood there, tears streaming down her face more rapidly. She nodded yes as she couldn't get the words out.

"Mamma!" Lillian squealed as Maria kissed John. She inched her little body in between John and Maria. They both broke apart laughing.
"Want to come to the recording studio with us Johnny?" He thought for a moment before nodding.
"What about Seth?" He asked looking at Maria.
"Um... bring him too just bring his earmuffs," Maria said picking her daughter up and placing her on the counter. She tied Lillian's shoes and put her back on the ground to roam for a couple more minutes.
"Here Seth wants his mum." He came into the room with a crying infant. Maria took him gently out of John's hands and held him close. In the background, the radio started playing Stand By Me by Ben E. King. She started singing it to him while gently rocking him. John loved when Maria sang to their kids.
"Ok let's go." She smiled brightly.

"Hey, where's Sher?" Maria asked as Lillian followed her dad you the couch.
"She's a no-show." Mike huffed playing his riff. Maria sighed and got behind the drums letting all her thoughts ease away. As they played they didn't notice Sherry walk in. She went over and sat by John. Lillian was in the room with Maria, Mike, and Jack singing her little heart out.
"Hey, John," Sherry said to him. He smiled and nodded as he held Seth. "Maria got her early... Hey, when did you guys have a baby?" Sherry chuckled. John looked at her funny.
"Um Lillian was about a year ago and some months and Seth two months ago..." He said looking at her. She smiled before falling over. John gently gave Seth to Mike who ran out there after hearing the thud. "Her pulse is getting slower," John said picking his daughter up and covering her eyes.
