No One's POV ( A/N : btw, italics and underline is Na'vi language )
"She had never experienced betrayal, Until this moment. Gazing at him from the other side of the battlefield, She began to tremble, With anger or sadness, she would never know. Yet what infuriated her the most Is how he looked at the ground, Desperately avoiding eye contact with the girl he loved; The girl he betrayed" - L.J.
The next day was another outburst amongst the clan. Neteyam and Mali'ki went to her parents, Kian was talking to the warriors.
"Ma Sempul!" Mali'ki called out and Kian emerged from the warrior group, "I have something to say" Neteyam started. "Speak Neteyam" Kian stated, the members of the clan gathering around the home tree.
Malachi stood to the left of Kian, Heirani stood next to Kian.
"A great evil is upon us" Neteyam stated, "the sky people are coming..." Mali'ki stood by his side and looked at him. "They are coming to destroy any clan that steps in their way... Their gonna be here soon. A Great War is coming" he stated with slight panic in his voice.
Jake knew what was coming next, it happened between him and Neytiri.
The clan murmured and grew worried at the words that Neteyam spoke. "We need to leave or everyone will die" he declared, "are you certain of this?" Heirani asked, worry spread across her face.
Mali'ki stood next to her mother, Jake and Lo'ak had joined Neteyams side along with Neytiri, "look- it all started with my parents. My father was a dream walker, the sky people came and destroyed the Omaticaya clans home tree. My grandfather died protecting his clan, my mother lost her father, her sister to the sky people" he panted out, afraid to say what needed to be said.
"My sister Kiri lost her mother to the sky people... when we heard the news of the sky people returning, my family had no choice but to flee. The sky people are hunting down my family! They kidnapped and tortured Mali'ki because they wanted to create more avatars and to get information out of her about my father..." Mali'ki looked at Neteyam and immediately touched his arm.
"What are you saying Neteyam? You knew this would happen?" She questioned, feeling a bit conflicted, nervous of his answer, "yes. Look at first it was just Quaritch looking for my father only, then it became more when he captured my friend Spider and followed pursuit with your kidnapping" Mali'ki was so stunned, she wanted to think he was lying. The clan listened and watched everything unfold.
"Everything changed... ok? I fell in love, I fell in love with the frozen forest, with the Herwi people, with you" Mali'ki began pushing away his hands, a sadden painful look adorned her face, her ears flattening a bit, "with you" he tried continuing but Mali'ki spoke up, "I trusted you."
Neteyam grabbed ahold of her arms and tears began to brim her eyes, "I trusted you!" She said heartbrokenly, pushing him away from her, "trust me now please" he begged. His heart shattering at the sight of his broken hearted mate.
"Kawkrr!" She screamed in Na'vi, tears making her eyes swell up, her ears were flattened against her head. Neteyam had never heard her speak in the Na'vi language, so he was taken aback, "ke slayu nga Na'viyä haxpí!" She screamed at him in with her voice being laced with rage and pain of betrayal.
She immediately pushed him against his chest, hard. Her ears were flattened against her head, "you will never be one of the people!" She shouted at him with so much hurt, "Mali'ki please..." he begged, but Mali'ki heard enough, she immediately went to her parents, tears streaming down her face.
"Maite" her mother soothed and cradled her daughter to her chest. "Look what you have done! We will fight this war! With or without you. Ikani, show them back to their homes" Heirani stated angrily, Ikani bowed his head to the Tsahík and immediately began pushing the Sully family away as Heirani walked with a sobbing Mali'ki back to their home. Kian stood there angry, so he shouted at the warriors to gather around to come up with a plan.
Neteyam felt so hurt and he didn't plan on betraying her, it was just something that couldn't be avoided.
Ikani scolded at the Sully family and left to the king and queens home. Neteyam was furious. He was angry that this was his life. Being hunted and forced to endanger everyone he loves and cares for. "Father please... we must do something!" He begged and Neytiri felt sorry for her oldest son.
"Okay, okay, we will do something" Jake stated and called for a 'Sully Family' meeting.
