"If I can have your attention please" my dad said standing on the stage of the club as he got up raising his glass as he tapped the metal knife on it gently getting the attention of the party that he was hosting. All the guests drew quiet, focusing on him. "In celebration of a successful business with the Honourable Tak family, looking forward to our bright future for both of our businesses. Also, a happy and healthy life for my daughter, thank you Junghae for recovering well and thank you Yeonjun-ah for your hard work" my dad ended looking in my direction where Yeonjun stood next to me. We both raised our glasses in acknowledgement

"Cheers to along healthy life for all of us" my dad said with that the crowed cheered

"Thank you Yeonjun" I said looking at him "I really appreciate it"

"Don't mention it. You are the one who worked hard. So thank you for recovering so well" Yeonjun said

"Also thank you for attending the event with me" I said

"You literally dragged me here." Yeonjun groaned rolling his eyes

"I didn't want to attend alone" I said

"Whatever" Yeonjun chuckled rolling his eyes "what now?" He asked

"What?" I asked tilting my head in confusion

"What do you plan on doing now? will you start working again?" He asked

"Well I definitely don't want to go back to doing medicine, so I will probably just travel around" I said

"What about Seowon?" He asked, I felt my lungs squeeze at hearing his name. I miss him.

"He is under good hands" I whispered,

"How can you be so sure of it?" He asked

"I trust Kai. I already saw how he treats Seowon like his own child. Seowon has a deep connection with Kai, something he didn't even have with his own father. I don't want to take that away from him. If I have to be out of the picture to keep both Kai and Seowon happy and live peacefully then I will do it. I can't bare to hurt them even more" I said, but I felt my heart clench hard. It still hurts me knowing I can't see them anymore, but I knew I still have contact with my mom so I can get an update every now and then.

"I see" Yeonjun said nodding his head "but... is that what you really want?" He asked

"No" I replied "but there is nothing that I can do. I can't force myself into someone's live if they can't stand my presence"

"It's already been more than six months since you came here. Maybe he changed his mind" Yeonjun said

"I doubt it, not after what he said to me that day. Plus I don't think I even deserve a second chance. Not with him or with Seowon" I said, I looked at Yeonjun who drew quiet. He was in seep thought as he stared off. My eyes fell on the watch that he wore as his hand clenched hard around the cup
