Kryuger cleared his throat.
[Doctor]: "OH, oh, I'll go outside. Strictly confidential, huh?"
The CEO grunted.
The doctor sprinted away and closed the door.
[Kryuger]: "Well..."
He began, after the initial moments of silence.
[Kryuger]: "How are you feeling?"
I gestured weakly towards myself.
[G36]: "Well... I've been better."
He nodded curtly.
[Kryuger]: "Very well, let's get straight to the business, shall we?"
[G36]: "Um, sure, sir."
[Kryuger]: "First of all, allow me to congratulate you. Though lacking proper training, your combat reports say that you excel for a novice."
[G36]: "I'm honoured."
[Kryuger]: "Which is why the board has decided that you are eligible to skip training completely and serve as a Tactical Doll under Commander Heiden's leadership."
I let out a sigh of relief.
Commander Heiden had a rather... distinctive persona; most of which highlighted rather positive and reliable qualities.
From what I was told, commanders were meant to "strategically" position themselves in someplace safe.
Not fight with T-Dolls in the frontlines.
How interesting that he showed up then...
[Kryuger]: "Miss G36?"
He pulled me out of my string of thoughts.
[G36]: "Oh, my apologies, I was just thinking about stuff, sir."
[Kryuger]: "Anyways, continuing on what I was going to say, we've already done the background checks and you're about as clean as it gets."
He commented while pulling out an iPad like device from his folder, and placed it on the nightstand.
The screen flashed in very weird intervals as I held it in my hand.
It made me kinda sleepy, for some reason.
That's kinda fucked up.
[Kryuger]: "Last thing you need to do. On this mPad is a form that you need to fill in."
[G36]: "And the flashing on the screen sir?"
[Kryuger]: "Couldn't get it to stop. I think it's a display malfunction. Just cope with it, please."
I wasn't too convinced. Something just didn't click. The form was very short and concise; why didn't Kryuger just do it verbally and record the interview? Wasn't that more efficient?
Why was the iPad, or mPad should I say, flashing in the first place? It's not like Kryuger's so poor he can't afford a new device.
Kryuger seems to notice my incredulousy, and continued.
[Kryuger]: "Anyways, just fill it in like you would with every other form! It's really just a symbolic thing to do within the protocol. Everyone does it before they enter service."
Bullshit.
Absolute bullshit.
I was already getting drowsy from the flashing. And shutting my eyes didn't help.
lol I swear if there was a "Terms of Service" for this it would be filled with crap.
[G36]: "Alright."
I replied, pretending I was fine.
Kryuger looked satisfied.
[Kryuger]: "Very well, I'll exit the room to leave you some privacy. Take as much time as you need."
I shrugged as he exited.
Just fill the form and I'm good, right..?
Right.
So I grasped the stylus he left behind and started filling in.
Drowsiness was already getting a hold on me only after filling in my name and weapon specifications. The flashing screen has weird-ass hypnotizing qualities. It messed up my mind and made me forget my answers. It had gotten me to write according to my instinct and virtues.
That wasn't good.
Describe your profession before servicing in G&K (Answer if applicable)
This was an easy one.
Answer: Die inside simulator. I debug my sadistic colleagues' unreadable C++ code.
Are there any things you particularly want to do after becoming a member of G&K?
Well, I would have access to a rather impressive arsenal. I could do some serious hostage killing rescue action.
Answer: Form the G&K Spetsnaz branch.
If you were human what would you do?
Bruh.
Answer: I am human.
What do you want to do the most?
The hypnotizing shit was making me really, really tired.
I wrote something in my crappiest handwriting ever.
Before finally giving in to the overwhelming effects.
Sleep.

Berezovich Kryuger's expression complicated as he fetched the report from the hands of a sleeping G36.
"What's wrong?" His subordinate Helianthus, who waited outside, asked.
"I struggle to understand the majority of her answers." He halfheartedly handed the device over.
Their expressions synched.
"What is "C++"? "G&K Spetsnaz branch"? "I am human"? I don't understand." Helianthus commented.
"It's obvious that she just filled in random crap. Which means that she knew what we're trying to do, and used counter-interrogation measures to prevent us from knowing what she really thinks." Kryuger commented.
Helianthus' mouth dropped to the ground.
"Does that mean that for the first time in, I dunno, G&K history, we have failed to read one's true minds in the test?"
"Hmph, I do think so. It also means that G36 could have an integrated electronic warfare module."
"We didn't know that."
"I am aware."
Kryuger's brows arched after a second attempt to decipher her confusing words.
"At a second look, however, it does appear that she still succumbed to our hypnotism for the last question."
"What do you want to do the most?"
"Exactly. Over the years I've seen many... terrible responses which expose their true personalities under facades... So what did she answer?"
Kryuger handed her the device.
Helianthus didn't miss his cloudy eyes.
On the screen were two words, caesured but not a full stop but a teardrop.
"Go home."
