Malfoy Malvik's POV
I could sense that Trisha's mood had changed since we found the unknown footprints in our house with no further lead to the matter. She looked very distressed and a bit cold thinking someone would just pounce out of nowhere any moment from then. Although it was inappropriate and I hated doing so, I had to leave her behind and take a walk. This was because I had to keep stretching since my muscles were always working overtime so i had to avoid cases of muscle pulls and strains. I went to the bathroom and changed into my tracksuit and my Reebok kicks and finally tied up my hair.  Down the stairs I went and turned towards the kitchen to find Trisha preparing to cook after a mild shower. I hugged her from behind as she tugged in closer to me,  "I have to go out for a walk, I'll be back much sooner today," I said making sure not to let her skip off my embrace. Nevertheless she slipped and tossed to face me for a while. There was a look of trepidation and uncertainty on her face, she turned away but I could see she was contemplating on denying me permission to go out. However I convinced her giving her my word to be back very soon.  I opened the door and felt a cold breeze hit my skin as it passed  through  so I grabbed my jacket from the wrack by the door and left. I stepped into the street, Carnier Street and kept looking around to take in and familiarise myself with the surrounding. The town looked dead honestly,  nothing lively, but I guess the air was fresh because the streets had no people to pollute and defile it. There were no delinquents to apply spray paints on the walls and vandalise property, no gum tossed all over or reckless teenagers skating around the place while pumping up weed. My aim was not making arrests but to try to  comprehend the routes around the place much sooner so I could conclude my mission and assignment quicker and depart. I stopped by the Carnier Street park and got a nearby resting chair to relax myself. I leaned back to lie on the chair and face the clouds as I panted. All this time Carnier was silent and nothing gave out the vibe that it was under siege of a killer who's thirst is never over. It was getting a bit darker and an hour had passed by since I sat there and knowing Trisha she might as well be paving up and down in the house worried sick of my whereabouts. Considering that, I stood up and left, going on the same path I came with. It was the I realised the nice view of a koala family that I hadn't paid attention to in the park. My eyes searched further and I could now see so many species of birds flocking around the beautiful green shaded trees. This park was so beautiful and full of serene and I hoped to take Trisha back here so she could ease her body up with nature's remedy as well as make my baby happy. I walked back but this time through the mall first so I could get something for my wife. I spotted a convenient gift store and went in. Choosing a gift was now a challenge because the shop was now a challenge because the shop was packed full of varieties of gifts to choose from. I surveyed around and kept searching until I could sense the nice scent of lillies in the flower section. Trisha needed freshness so I picked a bundle and made sure to pass by the chocolate section to pick out a pack of Lindt's dark chocolate. Making sure I paid, I put all the things I purchased, put them in a gift bag and took off with my receipt making my journey back home while I held the gift. At 15 meters away from the house I got a bit worn out and stopped to stretch a bit. Just a while after, a screeching sound landed my ears and it sounded as if someone was asking for help. Wait! That was my wife Trisha and from the sound of it she was in agonising pain. I don't know when it happened but I ran and my feet has squashed the gifts I had gotten as I ran for my wife. Nothing mattered other than getting to her and finding out what the problem was. But it felt as if earth was against my arrival because I didn't see myself getting there as soon as I thought however I applied pressure and kept forcing the run. Finally I was in sight of our car and the curtains of our house. I got to the door and pushed it but it refused to give way. At first I thought it was probably because I was pushing in a fit of rage so I soothed myself and calmly opened the door but the lock still failed to give me advantage. I got all the more angry and banged while I screamt Trisha's name out. She kept bowling and her voice could explain that she was crying her lungs out yet drained and weak. I knocked the door multiple times and even pushed it with my hip but all my attempts went in vain. At this point I was desperate to go in because I felt that my wife was in extreme danger and the sounds of breaking furniture made my fears grow stronger almost rendering me mad. There must be another way I thought while my eyes googled around and landed on a window. I rushed there and screwed open the window as I ripped the curtain off so I could see what was going on. My Trisha's screams were more severe and high pitched at this side of the house. I peeped through and saw a body tied in an infantal position, it was my Trisha. Her legs were tied up while her knees took to the ground and her hands were tied to the back. She still wore the gown I left her dressed in but it was so bloody and her hair was no longer tied up but bushy. The corner of her forehead was bleeding profusely and her right eye had an acupuncture which turned it blue black in colour and swollen as if it was closing. My wife's face lost all it's beauty and  her lip was turn just at the edge giving out its own blood and the final touch were her red eyes with tears streaming off of them. While lost in wonder of who damaged her this bad and about to scream her name out a figure dressed in black passed by in front of her. Trisha pleaded with this person,"leave me alone and I promise I'll give you all of my wealth. What is it you want? Is it money  or jewellery  or other assets ? Just please let me live for the sake of my child!" I squinted my eyes further to see who it was that dared to attack my wife. There the person was, clothed with a masculine structure and physique. While fazed on the gender, they waved around a well carved hip and a very rounded bottom giving off feminine vibes. She walked a mile forward and I was well enough convinced to conclude that it was a woman. She had long ebony hair, very silky and shiny even in the dark because it's violet colour glowed in a dull lighted living room. She had cherry red lips as if her gloss and lipstick were made of pure human blood,  she grinned and her teeth especially the premolars were sharpened. The woman looked acclimatised to killing, her smile was addictive yet venomous and deadly. Her demeanour was that of a demon, she dressed in black and her jacket had silver chains hooked on the shoulders with a scorpion tattoo on her neck. Her hands were scarred and her nails were clawy and shiny black. This was not the time to spit but chile, the black ruby pendant on her neck complemented her outfit making her the most beautiful female creative yet. I snapped back to reality and remembered she was the same woman holding the mother of my unborn child under painful hostage. The woman turned to look at me and her tanned skin would get anyone drooling but not right now, she gave an evil grin and enraged me. She paid no need to Trisha's pleas. She smiled at the sight of being begged. Right now I had no idea who this could be or what could be driving them to do my wife dirty but that was for later, right now I only had to think of how to save her. Trisha was freaking out and on the verge of fainting so I began to calm her down by affirming that I'd do all I can to get her out safely. I ran to the kitchen hoping to find it unlocked so I can access to the house but it was also locked. I ran back to the window and started a conversation with this unknown woman, "let my wife go, if it is me you're after then gladly get me but leave her out of this!" I yelled. She turned her attention back to me, smiled at me giving out that devious smirk and turned to press her lips against Trisha's. Her intentions were strange but I had no time to study them as I shook the burglars on the window frame as if they'd rip off instantly. She bended over and rose back up holding a shiny piece of metal, it was a knife. The woman went into the kitchen and I assumed she turned on the stove because the gas smelled. She returned and grazed the knife against the ground as she got closer and approached Trisha. I screamed desperately knowing her next move begging her to stop but I was forced to watch the eerie scene of that woman slowly slitting my wife's neck. A moment of her painful whails birthed and transitioned to a vacuum of silence as she slowly faded while my eyes were fixed on her eyes that closed in tears shocked. She did it slowly and relaxed as if killing my wife was a moment to savour for a long while. I could feel my whole world closing in and my body shut down. This is what I wanted to avoid, now I'd lost two of the most valuable lives to me just a few days into moving in at Carnier Street just as easy. The woman stood up and paced to the kitchen and came back with a red hot metal,  there she sat and began carving something onto Trisha's hands while I stared in disbelief of the reality I was forced into. After a while she turned the hand of my wife towards my direction and I could read the words "the thirst never dries out." It was then that all the pieces just added up and could get the catch on who this woman was. This was the blood thirsty killer who had been sipping off the blood of the Carnier Street residents. Now I had seen her, but why would she allow me to see her though isn't she supposed to be hiding her identity.  She was not even someone I knew from the past or present so what was her vendetta with my late wife (hurts me to call her late😔). This mission was out of the ordinary and I have a feeling this killer wanted me to find her and get to her soon. But due to what happened to Kirmit I'll be smart enough not to fall for this trap. She smiled and said nothing as she threw Trisha's hand to the ground and stood up leaving the material to the floor and walked away. I had no idea where she was headed until I heard the kitchen door click and go wide open. I arrived a minute later to the spot and saw the killer jump over the screen wall. Fuelled by revenge I jumped over the wall too and began running after her. Man was this a woman? She gave me the run for money as she kept dodging my  catches and ran faster than I. She mistakenly tripped over just near the telephone and when I thought I  caught her, a car drove past. It opened up for her and she went in waving at as it sped off. But I wasn't all that angry, I knew the face of the killer and would still get back at her anytime I wanted. I took steps back and turned to walk home, remembering that I had my wife's corpse lying down in our living room, and so was our unborn child 😔......
