Our Day

The next morning I woke up to the smell of breakfast.

It was shocking, my mom hasn't cooked in the morning since my middle school days. And boy did I miss it.

Just as I was about to make a mad dash to the kitchen. I remember Jackson falling asleep next to me.

He wasn't there.

Oh shit. If my mom found him what I smell cooking could be his dead body.

I tip toe down the stairs afraid of what I will be met with.

Instead of a scary sight, there was a half naked Jackson standing in front of my stove.

"Boy what do you think your doing?" I laughed.

He turned and gave me a million dollar smirk before extending his arm out in my direction.

I moved across the room, until I was in reaching distance.

When he grabbed hold of my hand he pulled me to his side wrapping one arm around me.

"This is part one of me winning you back. And considering we both love food, I made breakfast."

I took a strip of the already cooked bacon bringing it to my lips.

It was mouth watering good, but I wasn't gonna let him no that.

Before I could put the second half of the strip in my mouth. Jackson was lifting my hand to his.

He pecked my cheek with a grin as he chewed.

"After breakfast get ready, because your spending the day with me" He said letting his breath graze my skin.

This was normal for us, at least until we broke up.

We'd spend entire days together. When the day ended we'd go our separate ways. And I'd just tell my mom I was with Lilly, Drew, or Maddison.

"What do you have planned?" I asked.

"You'll see, don't even worry." He pecked a trail from my nose.

I'd come to love those lips so much. It's as though they put me in a trance.

As he tried pulling away I grabbed his face, letting our lips continue.

When he pulled away this time he leaned his forehead to mine giving me a smile.

Jackson was actually a great guy when he wasn't cheating.

It's as though the popularity from him being the star football player got to his head over the years.

But I know my sweet Jax was still in there somewhere.

I tried to push my lips to his again but he stopped me giving me a look.

He didn't even have to speak, I already knew he'd say 'stop before you get daddy excited'.

I rolled my eyes and peeled away from him taking a seat on the kitchen island behind him.

"What are you gonna wear later?" I asked trying to start conversation.

"Don't worry about that either, I already laid you out something I'd like to see you in. And I know what I'll wear to match it" he chuckled.

I love this boy so much, I just wish he'd stay faithful.

I rolled my eyes at him before sliding off the counter.

I wrapped my arms around his waist, laying my head between his shoulder blades. My hands dipped into his boxers.

I felt around causing him to flinch. "Mel, stop playing" he grunted.
