I carried on my day like any other but every time I see Jackson in the halls, he gives me a look.
I was trying to avoid him but failed miserably, considering I was going to a class we shared. Physics B.
When I walked into the class I saw Jackson right away in his seat.
But on top of his table was the rear of the broad that ended us.
After everything he said. I knew it was all just bullshit, but I'm good. Don't want his ass no way.
I took my seat and pulled out my things to begin the bell work, when the seat beside me was moved.
I look up to see Jackson sitting with his papers in front of him.
"Uhm, can I help you?" I asked unpleasantly. "Mrs. T says I can sit here because I can't see the board."
I shook my head and turned back to my work.
Through out class Jackson continued to scoot closer to me, as I scooted away.
He locked his arm around pulling me to him. "Isn't your girlfriend watching you?" I asked removing his arm.
"Nope. I'm single, the only girl I want is playing games with me." He said casually popping the P in Nope.
"I wasn't playing Jackson, I don't wanna be with you, you fucked me over not once but twice and I still forgave you." I said without facing him.
"And I'm sorry Mel...I'll do better, I just want my baby back." He damn near yelled.
That bastard. He knows I hate being put on the spot with everyone looking at me.
"I hope you do, do better. You just won't be doing it with me" I replied earning 'oohhs' and 'ahh' from people in the class.
"Besides that's what you said last time" I concluded.
As the words floated in the air, the bell rang. I gathered my things and proceeded to leave...that is until he stopped me.
"I swear Mel, this is the last time I'm asking you." Jackson spoke through gritted teeth.
His hard was firmly attached to my arm. I looked at it then to him before simply pulling away.
I stuck my earbuds in my ear letting J. Cole's G.O.M.D fill my ears. And proceeded on my way to class.
I'm not gonna even lie, that felt good.
When I got to my next class, at the back of the class was the substitute teacher from the previous day.
Just like before I skipped my work to do what I wanted.
Two worksheets, please that's not nothing. I can finish that later.
When I left school that day, instead of going straight home, a friend and I went to grab some food at the ice cream shop down the street.
In front of me sat a half eaten sundae, as well as two out of four chicken tenders.
"Girl no he didn't?!" My friend Drew, yelled.
I was currently giving her a run through of everything that happened this morning.
An obnoxious smirk across my face, I replied. "Yes he did"
As Drew and I laughed like hyenas, the bell jingled on the door. Meaning someone came in.
As I continued to laughs, Drew's laughter died down turning into a simple chuckle. "Look who just walked in."
