This originally started out as an ABO rewrite of the jealousy scenes in My Only 12%, but morphed into a rewrite of the series from Cake's point of view.
I know that getting left behind is hard, but I felt compelled to write this piece because leaving someone behind, especially when the situation is out of your control, is ridiculously difficult as well. I wanted to tell that story.
