"Cake, wake up! Wake up already!"

The warmth of Cake's thick blanket was snatched away, and he shivered as the chill from the air-conditioned room washed over him. A small hand closed around his shoulder and gently shook him awake.

"Time to wake up!"

"Five more minutes." Cake grumbled.

He grabbed the covers back and pulled them over his head.

He'd fallen into a deep and dreamless alcohol induced sleep. Waking up before it worked it's way out of his system made him feel fuzzy and weird. His head slightly began to pound, he'd probably better take medicine for it after breakfast.

"Cake come on! We have a lot to do before class."

Cake reluctantly roused. He really needed at least another three or four hours of sleep after drinking so much and sleeping so late last night.

Wait a second! Last night!

Memories of a few hours previous rushed back and pushed Cake's sleepiness and hangover to the back of his mind.

He sprung to a sitting position and grabbed Eiw.

"Whoa, hey!"

Cake squished him close, "Good morning, boyfriend." He said nuzzling into Eiw's stomach.

"Stop that! I just ironed this shirt!" Eiw said, he was already dressed for school.

Cake glanced at the time.

It was only 8 am. On a Thursday.

"Eiwwww, we don't have early classes today!" Cake cried in protest, "Why didn't you let me sleep innnnn? Come get back in bed with me!"

Cake widened his eyes and pushed his lips into a pout. He batted his lashes at Eiw and begged with all his might.

Eiw just stood there with his hands on his hips and an unimpressed look on his face.

"That's not going to work on me. Hurry and get dressed, we need plenty of time for you to read to me about alcohol."

Cake looked at him with a half a mind to argue, but Eiw silenced him with A Look.

Cake wasn't necessarily scared of Eiw when he got like this, honestly even on his worst days, Eiw couldn't frighten a mouse. It was just that when Cake didn't listen to him when it came to something serious, he would become sad and mopey. Cake couldn't stand to see him that way and he always gave in to Eiw no matter what.

With Cake, Eiw always got his way.

"Okay okay." Cake said, and rolled out of bed.

He rushed through getting ready and felt much better after he took a shower and brushed his teeth. He was still groggy and a little sick, but it was manageable now.

The alcohol had really done a number on him, he couldn't believe he'd drank like that.

He found Eiw in the kitchen already working on breakfast.

Cake and Eiw liked to keep breakfast low effort. Usually they ate some variation of eggs, toast, fruit, and milk. Eiw was already at the stove, frying the eggs.

Cake wanted to go over and give him a hug, but Eiw's body language was a little rigid. Cake knew that Eiw was upset over how he'd acted last night so he decided to work on making him feel better bit by bit.

First of all, he thought, he should get some food in him. Eiw was always much easier to talk to after he'd eaten.

Cake busied himself cutting up bananas, toasting bread, and pouring milk.
