John spent his first day at home with his family in his new apparel, feeling incredibly awkward and uncomfortable. His new clothes made him feel like he was back in his childhood, and he struggled to connect with his family members, except for Emma, who was excited and enjoyed spending time with her dad.

As the day went on, John's wife became increasingly worried about the situation. She could see the discomfort and unease on her children's faces, and she knew that John's new wardrobe was causing them stress. She wanted to be supportive of her husband, but she also didn't want to see her children suffer.

At one point, Lily's friend called and asked to come over, but Lily quickly told her no. John could tell that Lily was disappointed, and he felt guilty for causing her to miss out on a playdate with her friend. He tried to connect with her by playing dolls with her, but he felt ridiculous and out of place.

As the day wore on, John's discomfort grew. His wife tried to reassure him that everything would be okay, but John could see the worry in her eyes. John tried to make small talk with his family, but he could tell that they were uncomfortable with the situation. He felt like an outsider in his own home, and it was a feeling he didn't like.

As the evening wore on, John's wife sat him down for a heart-to-heart talk. She told him that she understood his desire to please his client, but she also reminded him that his family had to come first. She didn't want her children to be uncomfortable in their own home.

John could see the pain in her eyes, and he knew that he had to do something to make things right.

John changed out of his sweatshirt and leggings, and into his pajamas for the night. The pajamas were a one-piece footed onesie, adorned with pink and purple unicorns, rainbows, and hearts all over it. It was made of soft cotton material and had snaps at the bottom, which made it convenient for diaper changes.

John walked into his old bedroom and saw his wife already lying in bed. She was reading a book and didn't look up when he walked in. He stood there for a moment, feeling self-conscious and vulnerable in his childish pajamas.

"Are you serious about not sharing the bed with me?" John asked, breaking the silence.

His wife put down the book and turned to him. "Yes, I'm serious. I can't sleep next to a grown man dressed like a baby girl. It's too weird."

John sighed and nodded, feeling defeated. "Okay, I understand. I'll go sleep in the crib in my office."

His wife nodded back, and John turned to leave the room. He was saddened by his wife not wanting to share a bed with him. He knew he should be embarrassed that he was sleeping in a crib meant for a baby girl while wearing a onesie with unicorns on it. But he had committed to this new brand, and he couldn't back down now.

As John walked to his office, he couldn't help but think back to his childhood. He remembered playing house with his younger sister, dressing up in her clothes and playing with dolls. He remembered how much he enjoyed it back then, and that feeling of fun and excitement was still there- just clouded by negative feelings of how his family felt about him.

John climbed into the crib. The mattress was firm, and the railings were high, making him feel trapped and isolated. He curled up into a ball, feeling alone and ashamed.

John wondered how long he could keep up this new brand, how long he could to wear diapers and sleep in a crib. Right now he knew that he had to keep going, no matter how anybody felt. For the sake of his career and his family's financial security, he couldn't back down now.
