John woke up to his wife's smiling face as she leaned over him to check his diaper. She cooed over him and gave him his breakfast, dressed him in a pink onesie with a unicorn on the front, white lace-trimmed socks, and a matching pink and white dress with a large bow on the back. She even styled his hair in pigtails with pink ribbons.

As he got in the car to pick up Ethan from school, John couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nerves. He was excited to spend some one-on-one time with his son, but also nervous about doing something that Ethan would enjoy and not messing it up.

Ethan got in the car and told John he wanted to go to an arcade, which was a bit of a surprise to John, but he was happy to oblige. Ethan explained that it was in a different city, so he didn't think he would know anyone there.

John drove them to the arcade, feeling a bit uneasy in his girly outfit, but excited to bond with Ethan. As they arrived, Ethan's eyes widened with excitement at the sight of the flashing lights and sounds coming from the arcade. But their fun was interrupted when they saw some people setting up for a birthday party. John noticed that Ethan's face fell when he saw them, but he didn't say anything. They continued playing games and riding rides for a while, but as more people started to arrive, the arcade began to get crowded.

As John and Ethan were exiting the go-karts, John felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see a girl, who looked about the same age as Ethan, grinning at him. She had long, curly brown hair and bright green eyes that sparkled in the dimly lit arcade.

"Hey, aren't you that person that was with Mia?" the girl asked excitedly.

John smiled and nodded. "Yes, I am."

"Oh my gosh, this is so cool!" the girl exclaimed. "I saw pictures of you and Mia on Instagram. You guys are so cute together."

John felt his face turn red as the girl asked him a bunch of questions about his relationship with Mia. He answered as politely as he could, feeling nervous and uncomfortable under her scrutiny. The girl didn't seem to notice, though, as she was too busy gushing about how adorable John and Mia were.

"Can we take a picture together?" she asked, holding up her phone.

John hesitated for a moment, feeling self-conscious about his outfit and the fact that he was wearing a diaper.

"Sure," he said with a smile, posing for the picture.

John tried to be polite and friendly, answering her questions as best as he could. However, the girl soon realized that John was Ethan's dad, and she was upset with Ethan for not telling her.

The girl thanked him and then turned to Ethan. "Why aren't you as cool as your dad?" she asked teasingly.

Ethan scowled and crossed his arms over his chest. "Hey, I'm cool in my own way."

John could see that Ethan was uncomfortable with the situation, so he suggested that they leave.

As they were leaving, John could sense that Ethan was upset. He was worried that he had ruined the day, and he didn't want to upset his son. They drove back in silence, and John could see that Ethan was lost in thought. John was worried that he had messed up and had ruined the bonding time he was hoping to have with his son.
