'lily <3'

"lily?" haewon mumbled to herself as she saw the three girls dumping something in the trash. without second thought, haewon ran to lily. but she was late as the girls had already left when she arrived. lily was sitting on the bench quietly looking down, not realizing haewon walking towards her. "hey, lily. you okay?" haewon softly asked while sitting on the bench next to lily. the latter slowly lifted her head up and looked at haewon with a fake-ish, soft smile

"i'm sorry that you had to see me be so pathetic, especially at our second encounter"

"no that's not the case at all, it's totally fine don't think like that. i was just wondering if you're fine because of what happened earlier?" haewon explained.

"ah thanks for being considerate but i'm fine. you should just go and eat with your friends"

"you're much more stubborn than the first time I saw you" haewon giggled quietly. "but no i'm going to stay with you and maybe we can be close friends" haewon added

"fine, i'd like to be closer to you" lily smiled but genuinely this time.

"by the way what was the thing those girls threw away?" haewon asked quriously.

"oh nothing important, just my lunch"

"what do you mean not important! do you have anything else to eat?"

"it's really not important i'll just eat when I get home" lily brushed it off but haewon being the thoughtful person she is opened her lunch box and put it right in between her and lily.

"i don't really eat that much anyways so we can share" haewon smiled. lily wanted to decline since she didn't like bothering others but decided to just go with it since it would be pointless to argue with haewon who was very stubborn about helping her out.

they started chatting about random things and laughing like crazy about funny things they told eachother. their conversation flowed naturally as if theyve been friends for years. talking about things they like, random memories and just getting to know eachother overall.

"i know right! the sweet oasis candy is the best one out there no other can compete" lily said confidently

"yeah but my favorite is the green ones they taste the best, the pink ones kinda suck tho" haewon stated wich made lily chuckle.

"oh i almost forgot can i get your number? you know so we can text." lily smiled widely. lily was happy that she made a friend, usually she would just get bullied or ignored for the dumbest reasons so making a friend was really exciting for her. she always wanted to have people she could talk to, hang out with and just have fun. she wanted to go to places with her friends and do dumb stuff together just like in teen movies. meanwhile haewon already had her bestfriends so it wasnt very new to her but she loved making new friends so she would be excited everytime. and something about lily felt different to her, normally she wouldnt feel so close to someone she just met but something about being with lily just felt so right to her. hearing lily's question made her flustered for some reason 'stop it haewon are you dumb? she's just asking for your number' she said to herself getting rid of the thoughts

"yeah sure" haewon smiled and got her phone out of her pocket. she unlocked the phone and gave it to lily. lily saved her number and gave the phone back. haewon was about to check what lily saved herself as only to see that lunch was about to end. "lily-ah, lunch is about to end i'll get going okay? have a good day i'll see you later" haewon cheered and ran of to her class as to not be late. meanwhile lily just smiled still sitting at the bench. she had a really good time even tho it just lasted a lunch. lily was hoping her and haewon could be closer friends in the future, maybe even bffs...

"thats it for today, have good day students" the teacher said as she left the classroom along with the students who were eager to get home quickly. haewon was just slowly packing up her bag not in any kind of hurry. her friend kyujin wasnt that patient tho, she walked towards haewon's desk and started to whine "haeeee~ come on hurry the fuck up, i'm getting bored"

"yah kyujin! just wait a little bit, why are you so impatient?"

"whatever you'll hang out with us right?" kyujin asked

"actually i'm kinda tired we can hang out some other time" haewon said and brought up her hand to ruffle her friends bright red hair

"but whyyy? and you didnt spend your lunch with us either. do you have a boyfriend or something?" kyujin said pushing haewon's hand off of herself.

"no kyujinnie i dont! i told you im just tired we can hang out any other time, okay?"

"fine, now come on lets get out of school" kyujin groaned in annoywnce.

now at the school gate the three friends bid their goodbyes as kyujin and jiwoo went to go hang out and haewon went to her home. while walking she took out her phone and plugged her headphones to listen to some music. then she remembered lily, a sudden smile appeared on her face as she thought back to her. 'should i message her?' haewon thought. after a long battle inside her mind she decided to message lily. haewon opened her contact only to see a contact saved as 'lily <3' haewon giggled at the cute heart lily decided to put next to her name. the latter finally got the courage to text lily.

haewon was suprised at how fast lily had replied and suddenly she had an urge to go to the library even tho she didnt like studying that much. nevertheless she just shook those thought off and reached her home with a bright smile never leaving her face.

(a/n: sorry for not updating often, i just cant seem to find any time but anyways other than that i hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. it was a little shorter than i wanted but i kinda just ran put of ideas also i feel like the story is going wayyy to fast but whatever maybe i'll fix it later. anyways did you guys like expergo because i loved it. its literally so good my fav track is probably lmlt but all of them are amazing)
