'lesson one'
haewons house was a two story house and it was around medium sized with a little garden; it was definitely bigger than lily's. but something was off; after entering haewons house lily realized that it seemed remarkably quiet. atleast more quiet than her's.
"haewon, are your parents not home?" lily asked hoping it wasnt an invasive question.
"nope, they work a lot so im usually home alone"
"that must be kinda boring tho, right? my sister and parents are almost always home and although sometimes they yet really annoying i couldnt imagine being alone all the time" now lily was feeling a little bad for asking haewon that question after all she couldnt imagine life without her family but maybe haewon had gotten used to it, right? Now she regretted even speaking in the first place.
as for haewon; she was already used to it. it didnt bother her as much as it used to. now she just wanted to make her parents proud so all of their hard work wouldnt go to waste hence why lily was their in the first place. after the weird and uncomfortable silence haewon decided to speak up
"why are you still standing go ahead sit on the couch" haewon giggled pointing at the blue-ish grey sofa "you can make yourself at home its totally fine" she added which made lily ease a bit.
lily went to the sofa and carefully sat on it waiting for haewon to say something which she did right at the perfect time.
"do you want some snacks? we dont have to start immediately. you have time, right?" haewon half-shouted as she was walking to the kitchen to get some snacks.
"yeah sure. and anythings fine just bring whatever you like" lily stood up and went to the kitchen to join haewon. the latter seemed to be struggling to get two cups from the cupboard wich was a little bit over haewons reach. "want me to help you with that" lily snickered while standing right behind haewon who still seemed to be having trouble. "yah! youre not that much taller than me" haewon hissed at lily in a joking manner. right as haewon was about to turn her head she felt a presence behind her. lily was right behind haewon, their bodies almost touching. she stood on the tip of her toes and reached out for the two cups haewon was trying to get. haewons body froze in place as her face was tinted with pink-ish blush from the sudden act.
lily moved away from haewon and put the cups in her hands on the kitchen counter. "what were you gonna do with the cups? let me help you" lily smiled as always her nice and caring side was shining through. haewon was still frozen, but she quickly got out of her trance and replied "i thought maybe you would want something to drink with the snacks"
"sure i'd love that" lily beamed with a bright smile. 'why is she always so cute' haewon thought as she opened the refrigerator.
"lemonade or ice tea?" haewon asked holding up the two bottles
"i'll go with ice tea this time" lily answered
"sure, i'll go with ice tea too!" haewon put the lemonade bottle back into the fridge and closed it. she gave the ice tea to lily who started pouring it into the two cups and haewon started looking in the other cabinets to find snacks to eat. "lily, do you like potato chips?" haewon said holding the bag of chips.
"yesss i love chips!" lily smiled even brighter if thats possible. her smile was just so cute it made haewon also smile
"ok chips it is then" haewon went closer to lily and took one of the glasses from her hand and started walking towards the living room with lily following her. haewon placed the glass of ice tea and chips on the little table that was in the living room and sat on the sofa. lily did the same as haewon and sat right next her with their shoulder barely touching.
haewon lifted up her glass from the little table and brought it up to her lips to drink it. the room was very quiet; not excactly uncomfortable but definitely boring. she put down her glass after drinking a sip and opened the bag of chips. haewon took one chip and turned to lily, with a sudden idea that she got she moved her hand along with the chip towards lily with an unreadable expression which mad lily feel a little weird. "say ahhh" haewon smiled and moved her hand to lily's mouth. finally understanding what haewon was doing lily smiled and opened her mouth to eat the chip. they both started laughing.

the two girls started having a normal conversation again like they always do but this time lily was really curious about why haewon wanted to learn how to sing. she didnt ask it until now because she didnt know if it would be a weird question but lily finally mustered up the courage and decided to ask haewon. it couldnt be that big of a deal, right?
"haewonnie why do you want to learn how to sing anyway?" lily asked. haewon wasnt really sure if she should tell the truth, she thought that lily might think weird of her so she just tried to act cool about it.
"i dont really know, i mean ive always wanted to be good at something so why not try singing" haewon answered. lily was happy that it wasnt a big deal to haewon, she didnt want to ruin their friendship by asking stupid questions.
"anyways do you think we should start the lesson now?" lily asked as it had already been over an hour since she went their.
"oh yeah i totally forgot about that haha" and so they started their vocal lesson with lily teaching haewon the basics and trying to find out her strengths

(a/n: kinda a filler chapter but i had a lot of fun writing it and i hope you guys enjoyed it too. i think it was the cutest chapter so far. fun fact: i accidentaly cute my thumb so i put a bandade on it but because of that i made many spelling mistakes so it took me over an hour to fix everything and make it presentable. i'll try to make the next chapter longer because all of these chapters are turning out shorter than i want them to be. anyways have a great day <333)
