(This is a continuation of the last chapter)
Lo'ak POV:
A smile creeped onto my face as Tuk kept talking about all the stuff Ao'nung helped her make and do causing him to get even more embarrassed the more Tuk said.
Ao'nung cleared his throat loudly and excused himself as he walked towards the maruis , I quickly excused myself and said my goodbyes to tsireya and tuk as I caught up with Ao'nung who was basically speed walking away. " Ao'nung!" I yelled out for him, his ears perked up at the sound of my voice and he stopped walking as he turned to look at me. Once I finally caught up with him I gave him a smile and thanked him for being so kind with Tuk "It's no problem , she is a cool kid." He had a small but noticeable smile that he was trying to hide " you're not that bad ya' know" I held up my fist to him to fist bump him but Ao'nung immediately tensed up as his eyes widen , he slightly backed up with his guard up.
I was confused till I realized " no no ! I'm not gonna punch you again , this is called a fist bump!" He seemed to slightly relax but now had a questioning look " fist bump?" He look between my fist and my face " it's a sky people thing , it shows you think the other person is cool or you think of them as your friend." He seemed pleased with that answer " so I just-" he paused as he put his fist against mine " do this?" He looked at me , seeking some sort of approval "yes , just like that." I gave him a reassuring smile as he seemed proud of himself.
