As Ao'nung laidback against the walls of his marui he stared up at the stars, he had spent almost the whole day with Lo'ak and yet he still missed him...He didn't know why he just did.
Ao'nung looked around and sucked in a breath , would it be worth it? He thought to himself before getting up and making his way towards the Sully's marui , hoping Lo'ak would still be awake tho he strongly doubted it.
Once Ao'nung got to his destination he slowly made his way to the maruis entrance, he knew he seemed creepy doing this but he didn't care at this moment. As he looked around His heart dropped as he realized Lo'ak wasn't even inside the marui, where was he? Was he ok? Did something happen to hi-.
"What are you doing.."
Ao'nung turned around and sighed in relief as he saw Lo'ak looking at him with a questioning look " oh uhm, I was looking for you.." Ao'nung muttered out. Lo'aks ears perked up as his tail started slowly swinging , he had a look of surprised on his face while looking at Ao'nung trying to determine whether he was being honest or not "why?" "Because I couldn't sleep." Ao'nung answered as quickly as he could "oh ok, do you wan do anything?" Ao'nung looked around for a minute then smiled to himself as he looked back to Lo'ak "beach?" "Sure."

Lo'ak was currently laying on the sand as Ao'nung sat beside him, glancing between Lo'ak and the water once in a while " the stars are so pretty." Lo'ak said , breaking the comfortable silence. " yeah they are." " my dad came from that ." Lo'ak smiled as he sat up while pointing at the sky "the stars?" "Yeah." Ao'nung knew that Lo'aks father was a former sky person , everyone did. But he never knew where the sky people actually came from since all he had ever known was peace in their clan. Ao'nung turned his attention from the stars to Lo'ak, he was smiling from ear to ear looking proud as he talked about his father.
"Lo'ak what the fuck."
Both Ao'nungs and Lo'aks ears perked up and they quickly turned around to see Neteyam " Neteyam, this isn't what it looks like-."Lo'ak tried explaining , Neteyam was now glaring at Ao'nung "No it's exactly what it seems , you both been acting weird as of lately and now you're sneaking off to see him?" "No that's not-" "Lo'ak just come back to the marui." Lo'ak looked back at Ao'nung with an apologetic face as Ao'nung gave him a slight nod.
As soon as the two brothers had left Ao'nung couldn't help but smile , yes it had been cut short but at-least he got to talk to Lo'ak even if it wasn't much.

"Lo'ak what is going on with you two." Neteyam questioned as he was walking back to the marui with his brother "nothing is going on neteyam, we both couldn't sleep and we accidentally bumped into each-other at the beach." Lo'ak knew that only half of that was true , yeah they both couldn't sleep but Ao'nung had went looking for him specifically. "Fine , but if he tries any funny business I swear to eywa he'll need a funeral." "Got it."
