The next morning Lo'ak woke up first.
Lo'ak was confused on where he was , sitting up as he looked around frantically "Lo'ak...?" Lo'ak looked behind him to see a newly awoken Ao'nung rubbing his eyes as he looked at Lo'ak with tired but worried eyes. "O-oh I'm sorry I woke you up Ao'nung." Lo'ak apologized "it's ok." Ao'nung replied as he gave Lo'ak a tired smile.
Lo'aks ears slumped down as he returned the smile, Lo'ak went to Stand up but was stopped by Ao'nungs arms still wrapped around his waist. "You're leaving already?" Ao'nung questioned , still somewhat sleepy " I assumed you would want me t0-" Lo'aks words were cut short by the motion of Ao'nung pulling down Lo'ak next to him as he buried his face onto Lo'aks shoulder , causing Lo'aks cheeks to turn a darker shade of blue as he laid beside a sleeping Ao'nung. He didn't try to move or do anything to get himself out of this situation, he was enjoying it tho he would never admit that out loud.

"Their still not back?" Kiri asked as she walked up to Neteyam " No , still sleeping I guess." Neteyam replied not taking his eyes off the fish he was currently gutting "should we check up on them?" "You go do that , because if I go I'll drag Lo'ak back awake or asleep." Kiri gave Neteyam a slight nod before heading back to that spot once more.
When she got there she once again saw a sleeping Ao'nung but this time an Awake Lo'ak. She carefully walked over to her brother as to not disturb Ao'nungs sleep "Lo'ak?" Kiri called out in a whisper , Lo'aks eyes widen as he slightly sat up but not enough to wake up Ao'nung "Kiri? What are you-" "we were look for you two since you completely disappeared on everyone last night." Kiri quickly explained " what about mom and dad?" Lo'ak questioned , fear of what his father would say now over-coming him "we covered for you but if you and fishlips don't appear soon people will start to question where you are." Lo'ak sighed as he motioned his sister to leave , which she did.
He softly woke up Ao'nung "Ao'nung, wake up please." Ao'nung woke up with a groan "hmm..?" He muttered out "get up Ao'nung, we have to go before we get in-trouble with our families." Ao'nung immediately sat up in a panic " oh crap you're right" "my sister covered for us." Lo'ak said which earned a relief sigh from Ao'nung "but we better get going." Lo'ak finished, they both quickly got up and made their way to the main area of the village.
