I'm not exactly sure why Robin told me to come here, was she having someone over? Was it Han Seok? That's not possible. She wouldn't. If he's here, then I'm probably screwed. I gulp before going to the door, and putting my ear on it. It wasn't Han Seok.
It must be her friend then. I sigh in relief and slide to the floor with my back against the door, trying to steady my breathing. I got up and grabbed my suit, I'm probably interrupting Robin. I grabbed the doorknob gently, turned and practically sprinted to the door, quickly putting on my shoes.
"Is that your b-," cha-young got cut off by Robin smacking her hand on her mouth aggressively. "He's just a friend, dumbass," she defended herself. "Yeah yeah, and I'm Obama," cha-young said sarcastically. She could always tell whenever her best friend was in love or heartbroken. This wasn't any different for her either.
I could tell Robin was staring at me, and when I caught her she quickly focused her eyes on the painting a few feet away from me. I could've sworn I saw a smile forming on her face. I felt like I was being heat up like ramen noodles, and looked at the wall behind her.
"Stop denying it, you two have feelings for each other, definitely," cha-young smirked. "Stop it, let's just dismiss this whole matter and forget about it," Y/N spoke, getting annoyed at her attempt of teasing. I couldn't stand this.
"I'm... going to go home now, have a good day," I bid my goodbye, walking out of Robin's house.
I know my brother will not leave me alone about me going away for a while.
I know I will get beaten again. It was almost daily at this point.
But one person distracted me from that, and she made me finally feel how happiness feels like.
Then I remember that the whole thing is fake.
I'm not going to have her. I can only dream of it.
After all, my brother is way too ahead of me.
Why not me?
You know what, I'll show that rat who's really in charge of Babel.
I just have to wait for the right moment.
